I have no idea, I haven't paid attention to him or the 'charges' or what he did. But if he brought to light crap the government was doing illegally, against the constitution, then yeah, he is.
What did Snowden bring up that's unconsitutional? Nothing, it is a LEGAL program. Even the GOP has said as such.
I am glad you nor your ilk has anything to do with classified information.
What's the end-game here? Does Obama really think Putin is going to bow to his wishes? Not bloody likely. And how does Obama gracefully extricate his foot out of his mouth in a few weeks, a month, a year?
You haven't got a clue, which is amazingly apparent in the above statement of ignorance.
There is no end-game. It's just another in a series of tit-for-tats. He knew Snowden would get asylum, I think we all did. But he can't say that, he has to feign some kind of indignation over what Russia "did to us."
I'm sorry, yes I do, I held a TS/SCI clearance, did you?

Interesting, you have strong opinions on Obama yet don't even have a cursory understanding of the situation. Your avatar is perfect.
Man, that's some far left field babble. Expected.
So it's left up to the next President to initiate a third Russia reset?
Looks like Snowden and that issue has now taken it's toll. Even though Obama wont meet with Putin. Kerry and Hagel with still meet with their counterparts. Although Jay Carney should check a bit more into what cooperation actually means. Do you think that Russia will Now cooperate with us all because of this? I think Putin is laughing his ass off. Knowing there is nothing we can do about Snowden while he is in Russia.
President Barack Obama on Wednesday abruptly canceled a Moscow summit with President Vladimir Putin planned for next month in a retaliation for Russia's decision to grant asylum to fugitive U.S. spy agency contractor Edward Snowden.
The cancellation marks a stark low point in U.S.-Russian relations in the years since Obama embarked on a "reset" in ties to try to gain more diplomatic cooperation, only to find that deep differences remain.
"Following a careful review begun in July, we have reached the conclusion that there is not enough recent progress in our bilateral agenda with Russia to hold a U.S.-Russia summit in early September," White House spokesman Jay Carney said in a statement.
The Russian government expressed disappointment at the decision, which means Obama will skip Moscow talks with Putin but still attend a G20 summit in St. Petersburg September 5-6. Obama will stop in Sweden on September 4 to replace the Moscow visit.

I don't think it's a wise move. With all the friction that's been going on between the US and Russia, it's imperative that we meet and get things worked out. The Cold War is over, it's time to act like it.

Yes, a TS/SCI and was in the PRP. When on shore duty worked in the building with a SCIF and went to the weekly briefings.
Then you should know damn good and well the Non-Disclosure agreement you signed did not say "I will only release classified information that I FEEL is wrong". It says you will not disclose ANY classified information. Snowden is a disgrace and a criminal that should be behind bars. Through his OWN ADMISSION he says he took the job to gather classified information on the program to release it. That shows intent on committing a crime.
You call him a hero, go figure.
