Where they gonna go? You think they will vote for the Repub? :roll:Hey, not sure if this is the right forum for this, but it seemed the closest. Sorry if I got it wrong.
So the new Gallup polls are out, and the headline reads "Obama Approval Slipping Among Liberal Democrats".
Here is a graph of the decline (click to go to the page):
This is the first time his approval has dropped below 80% amongst Liberal Democrats. A 10 point drop in around a month.
As can be seen below, he's making slight gains with the Republicans, specifically Conservative Republicans.
What do you guys make of this? Why has this happened? What can he do to fix it? Can he be reelected without his base? What caused this in the first place? Is it politically safe to lose your base?
Comment below.
The leftists I talk to Obama are primarily disappointed in his ability to shape and execute policy. This is the result of inexperience.
Since Obama seems to be in the process of adopting the Republican agenda perhaps he should run as a Republican in 2012.

Nah, once the campaign starts and he is promising more of that Hope and Change, they will become enamored again. He is, after all, the one he (and they) have been waiting for.I think they'll not vote at all, or for an independent.

Implemented a health insurance mandate - Republican idea
Tried to implement Cap and Trade - Republican idea
Extended the tax cuts for >250k earners - Republican idea
Says marriage is between a man and a woman - Republican belief
Radical leftist!!!
You and I both know that Obama is a social justice guy who is using the federal govt. as the vehicle to achieve his objectives.
If you think Bamster is such a conservative fellow maybe he should seek the Republican nomination in 2012.
Compromising with the GOP's child-with-tantrum political style is bound to hurt you among liberals.
Awwww, did Daddy Obama take your lollipop? Here's a binky for you.

It's possible to be not a radical leftist and not "such a conservative."
Of course, even with this data we still know conservatives will keep calling Obama "the Messiah."
Obama merely represents evil. Strike him down and the evil remains. Calling Obama names won't solve anything. The evil itself must be eliminated.
And what does he do thats so "evil"?
And wait one second, re reading this.
Are you calling for the assasination of the President?
