Little Green Footballs - Coming Soon: More Nuclear Power Plants

Interesting. Me thinks that he's striking compromises in anticipation of a Congress becoming more Republican and having a bill that tries to phase out fossil fuel plants in favor of cleaner alternatives.

The health bill is making as much headway as a car stuck up to its windows in mud, so my take is that this will be Obama's next focus.

Or maybe he listened to his energy advisors instead of the retarded NIMBY crowd. Nuclear is the best we got right now.

Maybe, but as all politicians, they are not above simple maneuvering (in this case with the Republicans.)

But yes, the NIMBY idiots are just that, idiots. I wouldn't mind working in a nuke plant.

Killing multiple birds with one stone. It's a good political move, it keeps campaign promises, it helps us become less dependent on foreign energy sources.

Thumbs up from me.

Obama never ruled out nuclear power plants during his campaign for the presidency. He just said they would have to safe and clean.

Good news. Do nothing we result in continued usage of coal, which is significantly more polluting than nuclear power.
