And why are they giving out "Tariff rebates"? I thought the point of the tariffs was to cut our deficit. How can that work if the gov't is giving money away?

If you want to put money back into peoples' bank accounts, you can do it by telling Trump to drop his damn Tariffgeddon crap. In fact, the louts in Congress had a chance to take his abuse of tariff powers away from him & back in the Legislative branch's hands....and they killed that attempt.

A one time payment of $600 for an adult? How does that help them? It pays maybe one month's bills and not including rent/mortgage.
