The rest of the world has been eating our lunch on tariffs for decades. I am a big fan of military recruiting numbers recovering from the dementia Joe Biden era.

Trump is not telling businesses who they can trade with, he is just telling them that if you go offshore seeking cheap labor, expect those goods to face tariffs when sold in the US. Our trading partners have been doing the same to us for decades. That's why Trump is using the term "reciprocal tariffs".
