Nazism is basically a European and America’s focus. It never reached Asia which the swastika represents the footprints of the Buddha, wellbeing, good health, good luck even. Perhaps which did the most good? The swastika representing the Buddha, peace, enlightenment or the one representing Hitler and Nazism? Is it alright to force one’s views of these things, symbols on others who don’t have the same views or experienced the same events which caused those views? I think not. Go to many Buddhist temples in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, some in China and even Hindu temples in India and in Jainism there, you’ll see the swastika in many, many different forms.

The thing here as I see it is the western world, call it the white world if you will trying to force their views of the swastika on the eastern world which has a completely different meaning attached to the swastika symbol which isn’t at all related to Hitler or Nazism. Different history and different culture, different religions and beliefs. As the article pointed out, even the western world adopted the swastika as sort of a good health, wellbeing, good luck charm prior to WWII.

It is common to be unawares of the meaning of symbols when young. Plus, over time, symbols meanings change.

In 2025 for example, a Trump flag, a **** Biden flag, a Nazi flag and Confederate flag all have the same meaning.

They are but a display of their gang colors.
