No pride flags but Confederate and Nazi may be okay.

Please explain how the Pride flag stands for hate any more than do Black History Month, MLK holiday, International Women’s Day, Columbus Day, St. Patrick’s Day, etc.

Don't know many gay people - do ya.

I have gay family members who were married in a church. They are more Christian than I am. The church on our island flies a Pride flag, In the small towns on the mainland close to our island ferry dock, I have driven by at least 4 churches displaying Pride flags.

From what I read and see, those who call themselves "Christian Nationalists" believe - and act - in most un-Christian like manner.

Strange, I have gay Christian friends, one of whom was a priest. If some gays don’t like some Christians, perhaps it’s because of the bigotry some Christians show them.

What does Jesus say?

And, by what AUTHORITY in your Christian Humility do you dictate to others? Where does Jesus even suggest you have that high and mighty perspective? Was not his message to be a "beacon on the hill"? That your role is one of poverty and humility?

What kind of beacon only shines on those "deemed" worthy by the unworthy?

If you are a Christian then you should know your ONLY authority is the example YOU set.

Goes back to ancient Greece. Not saying that the CSA was fascist, just saying that the concept is a bit older than you think.

But speaking of the CSA, while not strictly fascist, the fact they enshrined slavery in their constitution doesn't really make them that much better than fascists. I guess that they valued slaves over genocide is one thing they have over actual Nazis...but it doesn't help the white nationalist cause of today to raise CSA battle flags in union with swastikas...

Let's expand on this a little, shall we? If you're even half as fat as I am, you must be a glutton, and that's a sin, so you're NOT a Christian, right? If you have tattoos - well, that's an Old Testament prohibition even modern day Jews respect, even some of the gay ones - so that means you're NOT a Christian. If you're Donald Trump, on your third wife, well, that goes straight against what Jesus said about divorce and adultery (a Commandment), so what does that mean?

But on the other hand, the Good Samaritan wasn't a Christian. Heck, he wasn't even a Jew, if that matters. But Jesus still praised him. Because being good does matter. I think it matters more than being able to point to a box on your dossier and say "See, I checked the straight one!"
