Hunter/Joe Biden corruption, to include the influence of Joe Biden in Hunter's Chinese and Ukraine deals. No matter the question, that is all Trump will talk about, and it will put Biden on deep defense in trying to explain it all and ending up with the confusion that Trump is aiming for. Trmp will point out past lies of Biden, including his claim that he had nothing to do with the Chinese deal. Truth won't matter, only accusation, such that Trump will then hope that he can ride scandal to a second term. It's all he will talk about for the last two weeks. "How can you trust Biden?"
And don't forget his accusations about the MSM covering it up. And maybe he's right. Silence! From them. The moderator will also be put on the defensive as he accuses her of being part of the cover-up. And it will be the talk of the nation after Trump gets through.
And it may very well work. We may see this as the gambit that brings another four years of President Trump.

"Ahead of tonight’s debate, the Biden campaign is telegraphing that if President Trump goes after Joe Biden’s family, it plans on attacking him for spreading and amplifying Russian disinformation.

In a pre-debate press call with reporters, the campaign's deputy manager, Kate Bedingfield, said that the campaign expected Trump “to continue to bully” and attack Hunter Biden and his foreign dealings during tonight’s debate. She said that Biden is prepared for those attacks as well, hoping to flip the attention to the fact that Trump is more obsessed with Biden’s family than America's families amid a pandemic.

“Here's the thing, these attacks are backfiring on Trump. You know, despite leveling them in the first debate, poll after poll showed voters resoundingly thought Biden won that debate because voters are sick and tired of Trump's lies and we've heard the same debunked attacks for over a year,” she said."

It will be brought up by a moderator probably in a softball question.

Mr VP you and your son have been unfairly implicated in a fabricated story, would you like to address those lies?

Of course the moderator will defend themselves and claim they asked a tough question.

Hopefully they find some time to talk about the ongoing, escalating public health crisis that's tanking our economy and killing our people. And the total lack of federal leadership on addressing it to date.

I think yours is a fair assesment. No idea if it will work. I suspect not.

Interesting. I'm glad to hear this. Defending specifics will only play into Trump's hand, Biden would be best to simply call it out at the macro level for what it is.

If Biden can pull it off, I think they've laid-out a winning strategy.

As Trump has his laptop, this above will obviously be Biden's ploy...

I hope he also plans to bring up Trump's efforts to eliminate pre-existing condition protections and take tens of millions of people's coverage away during a pandemic early and often.

I suspect that will be a regular enough point, too. Odd as it sounds, due to all the crazy possibilities it will ba an interesting debate. Not on a policy or information level, but on strategy level for both candidates.

Trump is a joke when he calls Biden or anyone else corrupt, a liar or stupid.....not all Americans are gullible like his base.

If I were Biden, I might be tempted to mention Ivanka's similar problems, and say something like, "Is this what we really want to talk about rather than oir plans for the next four years?"

It's true, Trump will always attack, even if he has no ammo. Problem with him is he's too demented to think of different attacks to use, he's a one trick pony. I wouldn't be shocked to hear him mention Hillary's emails, or President Obama.

Just more right wing BS

Got to have the scandal right before the election

Only people paying attention this time are the rabid trump supporters

It would be a shame if we don't hear something of substance on the actual debate topics

It matters not if Biden blames it on Russia disinformation. Unless he knows that for an absolute fact, which he doesn’t, it may make HIM appear to be the one who is lying. For one thing, there is enough personal information on the laptop that only Hunter could know to verify that it is indeed the real deal, so it may turn out to work against Biden if he denies it. And it will no longer be able to be shoved under the table by the MSM. Let us suppose that it is the real deal, then what. The MSM will have to investigate it more thoroughly and perhaps come up with some very damaging info. If they continue to bury it, same effect, it will appear to be the cover-up that Trump accuses. Either way, bad news for Biden.
Trump will have his teeth into this like a dog with a possum and won’t let go no matter what.

Possibly, but if Biden brings up the Trump kids' own legal/ethical problems, can't he neutralize Trump's argument. The media would also follow up a Biden attack, having to explain Ivanka's or Eric's situations.

Yes, because this Repug goober ****tard topic is more important than Trump's mishandling of COVID-19 and 230,000 dead Americans.

Of course it is.

Trump wants to redirect the focus of the debate.

The moderator shouldn't let him

He should stay on topic or have his Mike cut

Did you miss it? They spent 40 minutes on it last debate

True that is old history now, Let's find out Who trump owes Hundreds of Billions of dollars to and do those people know he has money in Chinese banks. And speaking of money made in China, how are Ivanka's businesses there doing, is she making as much as she hoped or does she need to get their masters to push them harder maybe 14 hour days instead of just 12? Enquiring minds want to know.

Biden should then just go after all of the questionable deals where Trump has used his presidential power to help his own businesses and those of his children and his son-in-law. Trump might not like that at all. One I could mention is the bank account in China and where that money came from as well as Ivanka's deals in the same country. What is good for the goose might damage the gander as much.

I suspect this will turn out the exact opposite of what Trump's campaign managers want from him. Biden should simply head off attacks on Hunter and bring the discussion back to topics of import and then ITS OVER.

Instead of Trump bringing out the worst in Biden it will be Biden bringing out the worst in Trump. Trump will be angry and frustrated and will bellow and roar and we will have Debate 1 all over again. Its Trump that cannot survive another Debate 1. Another of those would frustrate us but would suit Joe nicely thank you.
