Romans 7:17…..”As it is, it is NO LONGER I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.”

Galatians 2:20….”…….and I NO LONGER live, but Christ lives in me.”

What is the lesson ? In Romans the ‘I’ is the ego….which we all have and essentially identifies self. Forget about making Satan the villain….your own worst enemy is your self/ego. Galatians tells us that when we overcome the ego we can become one in Christ. Mystic Christians understand that the unitive state is the ultimate goal. This is very hard for many ‘Christian’s’ who reject the idea of unity as in the idea of the Trinity. By insisting on the separation of the Godhead they necessarily reject any idea of unity with the divine and thus being able to speak of the God within.

I have long been attracted to the namaste of Eastern religions…..the greeting that is essentially saying “the divine in me recognizes the divine in you”……Christians are more likely to rush to the judgment…..assuming no divinity in others unless the satisfactorily prove themselves. Jesus and the Samaritan…do I need to remind anyone ? And, by the way, being born again is the surrender of the ego….it is not memorization of the Scriptures…..

Every Christian will agree that we are saved by the grace of God. We are told that “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble”……who is more proud than the one with a big ego ? Oddly enough many people are drawn to those with big egos…..even confessing Christians…..

Wrong...it is not the unity we reject, it's the false belief that all 3 are equal...

By insisting on the separation of the Godhead they necessarily reject any idea of unity with the divine and thus being able to speak of the God within.
Wrong again...we can gain unity with Jehovah God and Jesus Christ, just as Jesus himself prayed for, yet we are no more equal to God than Jesus is...

"I have made your name known to them and will make it known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them.” John 17:26

What Jesus taught is far more superior than an ethic or philosophy...for example such as what was taught by Confucius and Lao-tzu or even Buddha....Jesus did not teach that we can work out our own salvation by the pathway of knowledge and enlightenment...Jesus pointed to God alone as the source of salvation...

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." John 3:16

It is an awkward position to deny the unity of the godhead and particularly the superiority of God who by the word of the scriptures a genocidal God and a very limited one at that…..the chosen people only. It was only with the coming of Jesus that love rather than wrath became prominent and that eternal life became a possibility…..basically never mentioned in the OT.

These however seem secondary to denying the God within…..

It's for some to see the God within, the "I" seems to always get in the way. When ones only view is that of duality then they only see a seperate God, remove the "I" and a whole new landscape is presented.

Encouraging to read this. To speak about non-duality and to have anyone comprehend makes one feel like a voice speaking in the wilderness…..

For those willing to die for Christ.......giving the entirety of your self/being/ego over and let God reign in your center of being, instead of self is the ultimate outcome. For Christ at his coming in all the glory given to him destroys, burns completely away self to where it's no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.

"Christ in you, the hope of glory" is strangely missing from much of Churchianity, yet this is truly the main reality for those having "Christ in them". It's not something just spoke without action or repetitive religious sounding words to be seen of others. For these Jesus has returned and now lives within them in a spiritual reality which no man can take away.

It's always been one way for me to discern......for I wonder, why are so many Christians looking for Christ's return, when he should already be 'in' you or if he is 'in' you, why are you looking for Christs' return if he's already 'in' you?

There simply is the fact, that in this life not many take the straight and narrow path, most love the broad, popular way for it's much easier.

Strange it is.......preachers with the big hairdo's, fancy watches, rings, suits bragging about their material wealth all claiming to be speaking for God and His Christ, lol......draws a huge crowd. "Give me your money and God will bless you", they say......apparently it doesn't work for them for if true, why not they give us of their money and God will bless them. Haha, never works that way......money, money, money......me, me, me. A 24/7 constant barage of self is being pushed/programmed non-stop into the minds.

The 'self' is weak.....don't fear......Christ has conquered the world......take his yoke.

Every Christian will agree that we are saved by the grace of God
But not every Christian believes we are saved by grace alone.
