Took advantage of the holiday sales and grabbed the following;
1) Heritage 22lr single action revolver for plinking
2) Ruger LCR .357 mag revolver for concealed carry
3) Ordered an AR15 upper .300 Blackout, 4 1/2” barrel. It’s going to be an excellent AR15 pistol for the bedside.

No gun bans here!

Very nice, I assume you're planning to supress the 300? I picked up an xd9 subcompact. Going through a springfield phase right now :)

i have an XD45 and an XD9. Great guns. Good for you.
I’d like a can, but at about $1K a pop they’re not in the cards now. I need to learn more first.
I snagged a Hellcat Pro several months ago. Wow!
You’re on a good track.

I also have the XDs in 9 and the XDM 10mm. I've enjoyed them very much! For sure look into it. That's the only reason I would personally even consider a 300bo for home defense is the ability to make it quiet.

How much did that all cost you?

You don't find the 45XD To be difficult to shoot?

Nope. 4” barrel.
I have some very heavy recoiling hand guns.
They are quite fun.

Maybe it's because I have very large hands. It's accurate but it bangs me up.
I do as well.
I usually carry a Kahr PM45, which really barks.

If nothing else, it appears the NFA tax on suppressors is going away...

The legislation would ease restrictions established by the 1934 National Firearms Act (NFA) on suppressors — often called silencers — and certain long guns such as short-barreled rifles and sawed-off shotguns. The change would eliminate the $200 federal tax on suppressors and the requirement that owners register them with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

I would love to acquire a 45-70 integrally suppressed, but that runs between 5-7 K...out of my price range for now.

I picked up a Rossi Trapper in 45-70 several months ago.
What a fantastic weapon it is.
