Some Democrats are warning their party that how New York leadership is handling the influx of migrants could backfire and be a "disaster" for their party in the next election.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams and New York Governor Kathy Hochul have been publicly feuding this week over how each has managed the migrant crisis which is stretching city resources. Over 100,000 migrants have been provided shelter and services in NYC since last spring, Mayor Adams' office has reported.

Worried Democrats told the New York Times that if party leaders fail to fix the crisis, it will cost them dearly in the next election, after the party lost four House seats on Long Island and in the Hudson Valley to Republicans in the 2022 midterms.

Maybe a civics class would help you, funding comes from Congress and paying for it would be done by reducing illegal expenses as well as illegal immigration. What exactly is Biden doing to defend our borders?

What a stupid post.

The reason people want to come into this country is that it’s now a resurgent economic powerhouse with the lowest unemployment rate in most of our lifetimes.

The only downside of people coming here is having to deal with ignorant conservatives.

So what was the D response to funding? Amazing how focused you people are on rhetoric but not the actions of your own party. There is more than one way to fund the wall, but as usual typical diversion, what has Biden done to secure our borders as well as Border Czar Harris?

My party isn't doing anything. We want all those rapists and criminals and drug dealers to climb over Trump's Mexico-Paid-For-It wall because that means we can STEAL the election since immigrants will vote for Democrats. And the only reason my party is SIEZING so much Fentanyl at the border is because the CIA is secretly selling it on the streets

Seems like a problem for the people of NY but thanks for posting issues, maybe you could explain what policies Biden has created to address those issues because it seems that illegal immigration is a problem and his 38% approval rating in the composite polls says he isn't meeting the priorities of the American people.
