From today's Politico....

NEW TRUMP THREAT — Late last night, DONALD TRUMP escalated his rhetoric against Manhattan DA ALVIN BRAGG and issued a dire warning about the consequences of an indictment, predicting “potential death & destruction” that “could be catastrophic for our Country” if he is charged with a crime in the STORMY DANIELS hush money case.

Trump added that “[o]nly a degenerate psychopath that truely [sic] hates the USA” would indict him.

How about it Republicans? Still calling yourself the Law & Order party?
 

This needs to lead to new charges against Trump.

He is making threats designed to intimidate the DA into not charging him.

This is obstruction of justice, witness tampering, disorderly conduct, and threatening a public official. This needs to lead to an immediate felony arrest of Trump.

The same rules apply to the GQP scum attempting to interfere in the investigation into Trump. All of them need to be charged the same way but on the federal level.
 
some Timothy McVeigh type is already planning his bombing of some building and we'll all just have to wait and see who the trump supporter slaughters.

and all in the name of a big city crook.
 
In my opinion,If this rhetoric if it continues even 6 months longer through say September and actually results in multiple incidents of violence where there is a direct connection between those statements and the acts, it will 'seal the deal' for the GOP IN 2024 national elections and it won't matter if he is or is not the actual nominee of the party, or there is or is not a conviction.

They cannot be seen as the party of Trump apologists or the party of incitement to violence by proxy in the minds of independents/ moderates that close to a presidential election. They are running out of time to shut him up or distance themselves from MAGA morons no matter which member of the GOP they nominate.
 
This should have been expected from Fat Donnie. He has been triggered and is panicking, especially over losing over the crime/fraud exception in the Mar-a-lago documents case.

Seeing the R's leap to defend Donnie is a scream. Way ta' go R's. Go down with the ship. Nobody is going to miss you the way you are now anyway.

Then to have blithering idiot congress critters attempt to bring the Manhattan DA in to investigate his investigation. I don't know what is scarier, having members of Congress so oblivious to the limits of their authority as to think they could pull that off or a portion of the electorate so numb that they could be convinced it was possible.
 
This is SOOO true. If any one of us railed at a DA who was prosecuting us, we'd be silenced immediately. Trumps behavior, while comical, is also criminal.

Which is why they all need to be charged. They all need to have their homes and offices raided by the FBI, they need to be subjected to body searches, fingerprinting, their mugshots need to be taken and then they need a nice perp walk.
 
Well, I'm not a Republican, but yeah...I'm all for law and order and I'm against corruption of the justice system.

What Bragg is doing has nothing to do with law and order and everything to do with political corruption.

Trump broke the law and he is being held accountable.

Threatening violence is criminal behavior. We all know Trump is a criminal. Most of us think being a criminal is wrong, so yes, what he's doing isn't right.

He is attempting to intimidate a prosecutor. That is a felony. Stop defending criminal behavior.
 
The other reason Trump appears to be a bit panicked is that the grift is not quite going as well as he had hoped.
