Mikhail Babich

According to the Russian newspaper Russian Spring, Putin's plenipotentiary for the occupied portions of eastern Ukraine (LNR/DNR), Vladislav Surkov, will be replaced by Mikhail Babich who was until recently the Russian ambassador to Belarus. A hard nosed Russian nationalist, Babich was no longer welcome in Minsk. I expect him to employ more Russification programs in the occupied territories.
