Political extremism experts warn that the charged atmosphere around the 2024 presidential election has created a highly volatile situation. Trump in particular often uses incendiary rhetoric, threatening to put his political enemies on trial and to deploy the military against the “radical left”, calling them “the enemy within.”
As opposed to the constant racism from MAGA?Do you apply this to the constant use of the race card by the left?
If Republican candidates are going to engage in dog whistling and overt racist rhetoric the left is going to call it out.Do you apply this to the constant use of the race card by the left?

Exhibit A.And that's what I am talking about. Your rile up all minorities and white lefties to hate the republicans, and you rile up republicans to hate you for the stupid smearing of them based on bullshit.

Hey Allan, where are you getting your mobs of violent street thugs? I want one!So, you only want your enemies to "calm down", you want your mobs of violent street thugs to be wound up and ready to go when you need them.
Got it.
'
Thanks for you honesty. BUt, I'm not sure why you expect me or anyone really to... go along with you on this.
There's some obvious irony in your comments. The topic is the demonization of supporters instead of or in addition to criticizing the candidates. And that's what I am talking about. That's what you're doing here.
Trump is racist and some of his supporters are racist. That doesn't justify the violence. When you say that Trump is pandering to racists, you are calling his supporters racist.
That's on you. You need to control your emotions better. That makes me angry. NOt calm.
If the allegation is true, then why does it make you angry? It's been shown everwhere that racists have flocked to Trump. You should direct your anger o your fellow Trump racists. When you say that Trump is pandering to racists, you are calling his supporters racist.
That makes me angry. NOt calm. So when you do that, you are doing the exact opposite of what you are calling for.
CAN YOU HEAR ME?
"Race card"?Do you apply this to the constant use of the race card by the left?
Or better still - direct displeasure toward the offending candidate, and vote accordingly. If the allegation is true, then why does it make you angry? It's been shown everwhere that racists have flocked to Trump. You should direct your anger o your fellow Trump racists.
Some are racists, and some are motivated by racist rhetoric even if they don't act on it. Trump panders to them. When you say that Trump is pandering to racists, you are calling his supporters racist.
That makes me angry. NOt calm. So when you do that, you are doing the exact opposite of what you are calling for.
This article details politically motivated violence from both sides. The practice of demonizing the other side's supporters is quite frequently employed by Trump but it didn't start with him.
In 2016 Hillary Clinton described Trump supporters as a "basket of deplorables", a characterization that was at the time widely criticized.
People need to calm the hell down.

Yep, it’s dangerous when politicians say that their opposition candidate(s) and/or their supporters will damage (or destroy) the country (or democracy).

What possible difference would it make to me?Your words make no sense. THey do make me angry though. ....
So, do you want me to calm down as per the op, or do you want to rile me up?

Some are racists, and some are motivated by racist rhetoric even if they don't act on it. Trump panders to them.
Republicans pander to them with the southern strategy. Remember there was a shift historically and many racist southerners were Democrats, but they swapped.
Democrats were wrong historically to pander to racists too.
Can you discuss this rationally? Why are you angry at facts?
It looks more like a legitimate accusation is leveled against you/Republicans, and they play the victim card, and accuse the left of playing the race card.
All this "card playing" in the right wing bubble, so silly.
