Yes, because only liberals in the military cause pregnancy. BWWWAHAAAAHHHAAAAAA! Stop . . . please . . . if you just made a point without Liberal bashing it would not make you look so . . .
In my experience, unplanned pregnancies mostly happen when people do not practice birth control.
Liberals are the ones who want to use the military for social experimentation.............Very few young people use birth control....That is the reason for the epedimic of pregnancies.
I would rather there be some unwanted pregnancies than continue with the former sexist policies.
Besides, I am far more concerned about the rape rate in the U.S. military than I am anything else. The 2012 documentary "The Invisible War" sheds a lot of light on this, enough that some policy adjustments have been made already.
I told you lefties a long time ago that this is what you get when you mix young men and women at sea for a long period of time....No matter what the restrictions are they will get together and make unwanted babies.
Navy Seeks to Combat Unplanned Pregnancies | Military.com

Up to 65 percent of pregnancies in the military are self-reported as unplanned, according to a December report by The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists' Committee on Health Care for Underserved Women.
Nearly three-fourths of all Navy pregnancies were unplanned, according to a recent parenthood survey conducted by the service. Of those, only 31 percent of the couples were using birth control at the time they conceived. With pregnancies involving enlisted servicewomen, 70 percent of the fathers were also in the military

The rape rate goes hand in hand with the pregnancy rate.
I'm pretty sure some folks might say there wouldn't be rape if there weren't women.
That might be plausible but I haven't read anything official to that effect. Can you please provide a source that says most military pregnancies are the result of rape?
From the article:
Deployed servicewomen may need to change their contraceptive methods because not all combat areas or bases stock certain birth control tools, such as patches, injections or contraceptive rings, the report found. (snip) "One of the things we've heard is that there is not a lot of information on the kinds of contraception that can last several months, Depo-Provera and other kinds of long-term contraceptives … "Sometimes there are not adequate supplies of the pill or they are expected to bring a whole year of supply with them,"
It seems to me the problem is not women in the military, it's an inadequate implementation of the logistical necessities.
Liberals love to socially experiment with the military . . . . you know . . . like that whole experiment where we treat each race equally. Thank God.
I didn't say most were...My point is if women did not serve aboard Naval you would not have a pregnancy or rape problem.
If parents raised their boys to respect women, we would not have a rape problem in or outside the military.
The reputation of the U.S. soldiers using prostitution abroad is well known. Men are having sex just as much as the women are. The only difference is that a pregnant woman shows evidence of her activities and can be punished. I personally have no problem with this, anymore than I have a problem with a man being discharged because he caught an STD from his activities. Anyone who signs up for service should know their boundaries and duties.
I don't see how women getting pregnant in the military means women shouldn't be allowed in. Humans are humans, they're going to have sex wherever they are. I do, however, take exception to your suggestion that a female in the military who gets raped is to blame simply by virtue of her being there.
I am only talking about women serving aboard Navy Ships....I can't comment on the army....I am not excusing men...They are just as guilty as women but the fact remains if you didd not have women aboard ship you would not have a problem..............You sure as hell can not take all the men off ships.
Apologies... just replace "military" with "navy" and my argument will make more sense.
If I look at what you're saying with cold logic, then yes I agree... no women means no women getting raped. However, men also get raped in the navy and military. The documentary I posted addresses that as well.
It's more important to address rape culture in our armed forces than it is to simply remove potential victims. Blaming the victim demographic is not the solution. One thing that can be done is remove command review from the unit commanders of rape victims, as those commanders are often the rapists themselves. It should either be subject to higher level review or outside review.
If women did noy serve aboard Navy ships there would be know rape problem.
The Navy has tried everything possible but when the average age of a sailor is 19 and when those sailors go to sea for long periods of time the sailors are going to mix no matter what the penalty is for doing it......I was in the Navy for 21 years and have never heard of a man being raped so I don't perceive that as a problem.
I thought most of you old sailors were gay. Adding women to the mix shouldn't get anyone pregnant unless Marines were involved.
