DC NG troops deployed to the streets of DC are bitching already and with every good reason of course. And now there are 1000 more of 'em for which there are scant supplies and suitable accommodations.

NG who live within 50mi of the DC Armory commute between overnight at home and daytime standing around DC monuments scratching their arses and posing for photos with tourists and locals alike. NG grunts who live beyond the 50mi radius are being put up at military bases in and around DC of which there are many and regardless of whether it's Army or other.

With the sudden surge of 1,000 NG from several redneck states the tension is high about landing yourself a bunk at a base somewhere nearby. And for when the time comes the base mess hall where you find yourself so suddenly will finally have enough food on hand to meet the new demand. Indeed, a good number of the grunts we see in the news are hungry dudes waiting for their KFC takeout or delivery to arrive.

Lunch brought to you at your assigned duty station such as for example the Capitol building is the standard MRE which is Meals Ready to Eat -- aka Meals Rejected by Everyone :p. NCO's then officers always eat last of course but because there's more grunts than MRE's the NCO's and officers have to call on KFC and MacDonalds's out of pocket for takeout and send a vehicle for pickup to the dozens of grunts who didn't get an MRE. With the sudden surge of the 1,000 more NG the number of mouths to feed outstrips the food supply -- and for a while at least if not worse.

The old 7 story former warehouse white elephant building DHS in its brilliance bought but can't sell is not being used to house troops this time. The all but condemned broken down sucker of a building housed the Birthday Parade 7000 troops who once inside were put in angry mode that gave 'em perfect scowls for the Generalissimo and the parade. No way that rathole dump built in 1929 would ever be used again by the armed forces -- which is to say the Army.

Ok, now you want to know what out NG does when activated. They assist law enforcement as appropriate.

In addition, they protect federal personnel and they support immigration officials during enforcement actions.

And you do realize there are a host of red counties who have blue cities?

Austin, New Orleans, Nashville just to name a few.

Coahoma County, Mississippi is number 2 for murder rate and has a population of 25,000.
Macon County, Alabama has a population of 21,000 and is number 7 in the top10 murder rates.
And that's just a start. Rural Southern counties have murder rates that rival Northern cities, that outdo them sometimes.
Philips County, Arkansas is number 3 with a population of about 22,000. You guys just make up shit that you like the sound of.

Good news. The National Guard are now carrying Pistols. You know, those Sig firearms that tend to go off for like, virtually no reason? So if they also have ammo as they walk around tourist attractions then the odds of a misfire taking out a Trump Supporter from Kansas are really high.

I love this administration. Just when you say it can’t get worse they find a way to make it worse.
