I think we DO need to decrease the world population in order for our species to survive.

Too many people cause too little to get done because fringe groups can be large enough to threaten the majority. It gets to be like herding cats.

We are a cancer on the planet and until we can evolve beyond our petty, superficial weaknesses, we will simply continue to divide ourselves and kill each other while exhausting the planet's resources.

I hear people all of the time saying we need to reduce the population of the planet........ but they never volunteer to be first in line.
