This is a complete misrepresentation of what happened. She posed a question about numbers, he said he didn't know the number but would get back to her within 24 hours. Her questions pertained to a woman in her district that she claimed was being removed from a clinincal trail program for colorectal cancer, and said the cuts in NIH had caused her to get cut from the program.
After a short break in the hearing, Kennedy returned with some information. The woman did not medically qualify for the group in the trial. Patty Murray had her information wrong. Kennedy had asked her about the women's exact situation in the trial and Murray didn't know anything specifically except she wasn't in the trial. Kennedy had told Murray that if her office contacted his, he would try to help find a solution for the woman in another trial. He would work to find a solution for the women. Murray didn't want to talk about that at all. She wanted to make claims about cuts that were not true and had no bearing on the womans not being a part of the specific trials that Murray claimed. Kennedy, repeated his committment to helping the women find a place in another trial to help with her cancer diagnosis.
Once again, BS from a democrat committee member trying to grandstand and make false claims. Kennedy took the time in the break to find out what the actual situation was.
Murray didn't care about getting the women into a trial, she cared about making a scene. She lost that one. When Kennedy tried to explain all this Murray did what these dems always do, talked over him, talked about 'her time' and wanted to move along.

While, down here in the real world, most of us competent people prepare for meetings and the questions that will be asked.

But don't worry, his advice is going to kill a whole bunch of people so that's what you MAGAs elected. And for some crazy reason that's okay for you guys.

NO, you worry about finding a "gotcha" question that really has no bearing on the topic. Murray was assured that services had not been cut, and that the woman in question did not qualify for the medical trial she was asking about. Kennedy said he would help find a solution, Murray wasn't interested in a solution.

Do you ever wake up in the morning and realize that you wholeheartedly support a felon who's a serial adulterer and whose entire life is lying and cheating and stealing and extorting?

And on top of that, you wake up every morning supporting a complete medical nut job who is totally unqualified and totally unprepared and who is going to cause death in MAGA families.

I don't think you're ever going to have an epiphany moment. Which is really, really bad for tons of American families.

This was a budget meeting and he lacked the details about what he'd been doing with his budget.

RFK’s sole interest is in food additives, putting him over all of HHS never made any sense.
