According to this poll, 54% of Republicans (who are proud believers in "family values"??) want SCOTUS if he did what Dr Ford is describing? Is this really true?
In the past couple years I've come to the conclusion that a majority of Republicans are simply bad people.

Have to admit.. Just as surprising... 12% of Democrats and 31% of Independents agreed...
I just can't imagine that those Democrats and Independents would be capable of providing a cogent explanation for why they believe a sexual assaulter should be able to determine the outcome of the land's most important legal cases. There is simply no way they understand the importance of a Supreme Court Justice's role, or the role of the Supreme Court at all.
no big shock there. look at their unshakable support for Trump. he's even on tape admitting to sexually assaulting women.
If I had to guess it is likely people that don't believe that something one did as a teenager should stick permanently with that person, and are not thinking about the fact that it would mean he committed perjury.
If her account was proven to be true, the fact that he committed perjury is what would disqualify him for me. If after she came out and he admitted to it and said that he had made a mistake when he was young and that it doesn't represent the person he is today and that he is genuinely sorry, then I wouldn't have took issue with it as that is not currently relevant to the person he is today and the position he is taking on.

Yeah, thats kinda the issue now. Hes denied it under oath, so even if he could somehow get a pass for what he did in High School, he wouldnt be able to escape that he gave false testimony as an adult.
The Republicans stand for nothing except Republican Party power.
And the democrats stand for....? Dont be so naive.
Thats a lie. You liberals are simply incapable of honesty at this point.
Numerous studies published in peer reviewed journals suggest it likely is:
Research Finds That Racism, Sexism, and Status Fears Drove Trump Voters
I checked the link, Trump support really drops when people have more education.

How many Republican with their family values voted in a man who admittedly sexually abused dozens of women and cheated on his wives and paid for sex? If someone can support what Trump has done they clearly have no problem with sexual assault, or adultery and in fact reward it.
It is no wonder democrats hate Kavanaugh for his conservative record, while loving Bill Clinton and other dirty democrats with sex crime records.
The Democrats actually do stand for things.... Most of things you probably take for granted, from the 40 hour work week to social security are Democratic ideas...

Other than tax cuts and military spending, the Republicans have not had an original policy idea in over 100 years.
