Thought this was really interesting. Wonder how accurate it is.

Deer are obviously from traffic accidents, but surprised they aren’t most of the country.

How can Great White Sharks be more dangerous than deer in Maryland? There has to be single digit attacks per decade, right?

And Bison? Really??

Are SD and NE missing from the legend?

I remember when visiting Yellowstone we were told that more visitors are injured and killed by bison than any other animal.

Really, without criteria for how they ranked for danger, the map makes little sense.

People try to pet them and/or take selfies. Like the rest of us bison don't much care for influencers.

The same thing happens with elk in Banff.

Texas is incorrect. The Texas Rattlesnake is the most dangerous!

No, They're just very dark brown.
Then are MT, ND, WY missing from the legend? I see three shades of brown, only two of which are reflected in the legend.

But where they are at, they are thick. At least around here. Things are everywhere, and no shortage of one's struck on the interstates.
Surprised I've only hit one. Glad I was in a truck. Caved the hell out of a steel bumper though.

About a year ago, watched one cross one side of interstate, jump concrete barrier to other side; was struck and sent airborne before the person could hardly touch the brakes. Good thing it wasn't packed rush hour traffic, or could have been an ugly pile up.

Man is by far the most dangerous animal in every state.
