More than a dozen people killed in Israeli strikes on hospital in southern Gaza, including journalists

If you get all your information from Al-Aqsa then you believe that Hamas is the greatest benevolent organization the world has ever known and that Israel is the new Nazi regime.

I disagree. There are certainly honorable, professional soldiers in their ranks. I've known several (granted, 40 years ago). The problem is, they're being led by war criminals, and directed to commit atrocities. What is obviously lacking is any sense of humanity. That can destroy any army.

Reasonable people ,imo, hold all sides to account for their actions and so will see war criminality ( like the crimes in the OP ) on both sides.

Does anyone have any idea how sickening it is to go through your ENTIRE life dealing with headlines about Israel killing Arabs. Sickening because even to this day, Israel poses and is seen as the "good guy" defending their land.

It wasn't theirs when they wandered there 2,000 plus years ago....they simply "occupied" it.

Palestinians, meanwhile, have been there all along. It's kind of like white people kicking Indigenous Americans out of America.

I don't debate this shit. I spent too many decades in the ****ing trenches with power and politicians on one side, ownership on another, trade unions confining job descriptions etc. and the "public right to know" a vague concept even the public doesn't understand.

Don't EVER use the phrase "Free press" around me. There has never been such a thing...just people with a grudge and the means to buy or manipulate air time. That's your "news".

That's incredibly narrow criteria, Lutherf, given that major news outlets - far more profitable, larger and more international than Al-Aqsa - have to stand by their words or get sued. They're not getting sued regarding the horrible picture coming out of Gaza And guess why

Right...and most of them are getting their information from Hamas in one form or another. There's a funny thing when you embed "journalists" with terrorists. Those "journalists" end up with a choice of reporting favorably on the terrorists or getting their heads chopped off. Guess which choice a lot of those "journalists" make?

Here's the thing. Often the operators don't know the target. They are being used as a tool by others. That, of course, does not apply to the snipers that shoot children, etc.

There are circumstances where discretion is available, but not all that often. I'm certainly not absolving everyone.

No journalist is going to leave Gaza, rush into the offices of his or her national base - Britain, the US or any other, you name it - and report a LIE because they're afraid of a bunch of poverty stricken terrorist/blackmailers stuck in Gaza may manage to reach them somehow. You're wrong, Lutherf. We agree on much but there's no way these vetted reporters working for major news outlets are lying. They can be sued and would be by zionist Israelis never mind rich US zionists if they were. They're not. You've seen the photos coming out of Gaza. Even Trump has acknowledged the starvation. There' no way to defend it anymore

I know you're not, but all the evidence I've seen would lead me to believe that the vast majority of Israel's ethnic majority wants to wipe out Palestine forever. Most of Israel's Jewish population would seem to support a genocide. Not every single one, but probably a supermajority. I mean, I get it on some level: this is a blood-feud. Probably the vast majority of Palestinians wishes Israel didn't exist, either, but that's what happens when you brutally colonize a land and drive out the people who've called it their home for generations. It is what it is.

The bolded is simply untrue. It's like MAGA, they're in charge right now, but they don't represent the majority. That their unrepentant, unrepresentive government is committing atrocities on a vast scale is undeniable, but I don't blame most Israelis any more than I blame most Americans for Trump.

It's (probably) not untrue at all. I say probably because I would have to acknowledge that polling isn't mind-reading. Polling isn't voting. It's data from interviews, and it is sometimes misleading, but the picture I see is that Israelis, while they may have issues about their leadership, generally don't have a lot of moral reservations about what's happening to the Palestinians. They want them gone. They believe that Israel and a Palestinian state (whatever that would be) cannot coexist.

Much of the concern that Israelis have about the conflict is about the realization that they are becoming a pariah state and they fear international isolation, which they should.

It's an ethnic war, not a religious war. A Jewish ethno-state wants to eradicate the non-Jewish people who don't regard Israeli legitimacy and who live within Israel's vaguely defined borders of "Greater Israel."

Who were the protectors of Jews from the Christians for over a millennium? Muslims. Why? Because they see Jews and Christians as cousins. Even Rabbis state that Muslims stem from one of Abraham's sons..which Muslims agree with.

The ones wanting a "religious war" are Evangelical Christians and Zionists and they actively push for it by linking Israel = Jews.

Zionists are primarily European Jews from primarily Eastern Europe and they are racist as ****. Israel is no free and fair democracy for Jews.. it is an ethnostate were descendants of Eastern European Jews see other Jews as below them. From sterilising Ethiopian Jews, to massive discrimination against Mizrahi and Sephardic Jews, Zionist Israel has done some ****ed up things against its own religious brothers and sisters.

And of course American Evangelicals want the destruction of Jews, because that means Jesus returns.

Sorry. But these constant attacks on Israel is in conflict. Note also the distiction between Muslims and Islam.
