House GOP leadership is urging members not to sign onto the petition, which currently has the support of four Republican lawmakers, and to back the investigation done by the Oversight Committee. The panel released a large batch of files it got from the Justice Department after issuing a subpoena for materials related to Epstein. Democrats on the panel said that most of the files have already been made public.

Now for the bullshit.

“Helping Thomas Massie and Liberal Democrats with their attention-seeking, while the DOJ is fully supporting a more comprehensive file release effort from the Oversight Committee, would be viewed as a very hostile act to the administration,” a White House official told multiple news outlets this week.

What is more comprehensive than releasing ALL the files?

'Very hostile act': White House sends ominous threat to Republicans over Epstein vote

Only 2 additional GOP signatures are needed on the discharge petition to force a House vote.

In no uncertain terms, Donald Trump has threatened any Republican signing the petition regarding the release of all Epstein documents.

Over 20 Epstein victims yesterday said that if Congress doesn't act, they themselves will begin to publicly name the rich and powerful Epstein clients who raped and abused them.

I'm sorry. Had to share this. Might be the funniest post I've seen in forever and it's about Trump's constant lies about everything (including Epstein).

Stop complaining until you ask democrats why they didn't release the information when they had it over the past 4 years!!!!! Same old double standard by democrats.

If there's no mention of Trump being guilty of something, why the hesitation to release the files?

I think they doth protest too much.

This is the Streisand Effect: The unintended consequence of attempting to hide, remove or censor information, where the effort instead backfires by increasing awareness of that information.
