But really, all religion was just made up by someone somewhere along the line. Then others came along and altered them and made up their own versions. It's not as if religion was discovered by human beings.

Yes, but sometimes you just can't forgive someone. I can't forgive my 6th grade teacher for emotional/psychological abuse he heaped on me.

Why? Alito apparently still believed in Hale of the 1650s as a respectable reference in a Supreme Court draft, and Hale believed in witchcraft and putting witches to death, something he ensured in two cases, as well as the illegitimacy of the concept of marital rape.

There are many, many people today in the US who belong in the 1600s, the 1850s, etc. It's cringeworthy, but no one knows how to send them back where they belong.
