MMA fighter challenges any 10 transmen to series of bouts

This MMA fighter, Jake Shields, said he wanted to fight any 10 transmen in a row with no breaks in between.

Nobody took him up on it, but then this female to male "transman" named Mack Beggs challenged him one-on-one -- mano-a-mano, so to speak - and Beggs claimed that Beggs will "**** [Shields] up."

I doubt the bout will occur, and if it does, Beggs will be defeated easily, in short order.

I guess this is 2023's version of "battle of the sexes". It's "battle of the genders."

I think everyone knows that Shields would be able to easily defeat almost any transman (and I suspect there isn't one that would be able to defeat him). It's just for some reason unacceptable to recognize it openly.

I have no objection to female to male trans being allowed to compete against men. As far as I can tell, even the old Soviet bodybuilder ladies, who were drugged up to increase their capacity, still couldn't compete against males. And I think that Shield's challenge was not particularly chivalrous or charitable. But, the trans movement is pretty friggin' militant, so I can't say as I blame him.

You must be quite the tough guy. Wanting to pay to see an MMA fighter beating up Trans people. Would you support an "event" where middle school kids are used for target practice too? Or maybe pro-football kickers kicking small dogs?
 
I am not very familiar with MMA but would think it is more about agility than strength and body mass.

No, I never watch MMA. I prefer boxing (and even with boxing, I'm not particularly interested).

I don't think the fight should occur at all, since I don't think a man should beat up a woman.

Agility is important, as is quickness and speed, strength, size, and power. Men out perform women, statistically speaking, in all of those areas, including agility.

Shiels will, unfortunately, destroy Beggs. The match shouldn't happen.

Your comparison/analogy is correct. A man beating up a woman who transitioned into a transman is unfair, and is akin to using middle school kids as target practice, because the transman is not really a man. That's the whole point Shields was making when he leveled his challenge (wherein he would fight 10 transmen in a row without breaks).

MMA is Mixed Martial Arts. MMA practitioners are extremely disciplined athletes trained in Judo, Karate, wrestling, kick boxing, boxing and other martial arts. These geniuses think it would be fun to PAY to see them beating up Trans people. Most MMA practitioners are very serious athletes and would never pick on someone weaker. But these drooler fans are the kind of people who also enjoy pulling the wings off of small bugs. Good candidates for having their guns confiscated.

I think his point was that there is a difference between transman and man. If there wasn't a difference, then what would be wrong with his challenge?

How is the post humiliating to anyone?

It's not a thread about MMA, per se, at all. It's a thread about the difference between men and women who transition to appear as transmen relative to athletics (in this case, MMA).

Definitely I disagree with transmen competing against women, but Beggs claimed that he or she had no unfair advantage over women.

The real issue in sports is males competing against females.
