Missouri gun laws - LOL

You say of course now but you posted
"The reasons for violence are poverty and lack of opportunity."

Do you understand what they mean by "...disproportionately impacts..." ? Because we are not talking about gun violence and segments of the population.
Yeah I get it you're trying to say that it's a red state blue State thing. Well that's not the case because you have to drill down to where it's actually happening.

Oh and poverty and lack of opportunity is the number one cause.

I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying gun laws make a difference.

CA has both urban and rural, richer and poorer, populations that are likely larger than the state you live in.

Are the localities with the highest rates of homicide not subject to the same gun laws as the rest of the state?

Unless you live in MO...
"Missouri has the 8th-highest rate of gun violence in the US."
"In Missouri, the rate of gun deaths increased 70% from 2011 to 2020, compared to a 33% increase nationwide. The rate of gun suicides increased 37% and gun homicides increased 130% compared to a 12%increase and 70% increase nationwide, respectively."
"Missouri has the 7th-highest societal cost of gunviolence in the US at $2,875 per resident each year.Gun deaths and injuries cost Missouri $17.6 billioneach year, of which $455.3 million is paid by taxpayers."
A huge portion of those are in a limited number of zip codes.

Are there any zip codes in Missouri that aren't shitholes? 🤔
Ahhh, the elitism pours out strong. This attitude is exactly what the politicians want to develop. Identity divide and conquer.
