Darren Wilson, the Ferguson, Mo., police officer whose fatal shooting of Michael Brown touched off more than a week of demonstrations, suffered severe facial injuries, including an orbital (eye socket) fracture, and was nearly beaten unconscious by Brown moments before firing his gun, a source close to the department's top brass told FoxNews.com.
“The Assistant (Police) Chief took him to the hospital, his face all swollen on one side,” said the insider. “He was beaten very severely.”
The source also said the dashboard and body cameras, which might have recorded crucial evidence, had been ordered by Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson, but had only recently arrived and had not yet been deployed.

If this article is accurate, they're going to have a hard time indicting Officer Wilson. If the dash and body cams have any footage, along with testimonies and corroborating evidence that exonerate him, will this become a 'flash point' for more riots/protests?

The cameras weren't used because they weren't installed.
I also suspect that Wilson will be indicted no matter what evidence comes out. There are simply too many people too heavily invested politically, emotionally and ideologically for there not to be an indictment. I realize that those factors aren't supposed to be taken into consideration but I have no doubt that they will be.
That's why Holder was sent. To make sure of indictment.
I think so too. That way if the locals won't do it, the feds will.

Where are the dash cam videos or even pictures of these supposed injuries? No where to be found. So stop the hoaxing.

The officer is white, the 'victim' was black. Thus the officer is guilty. That is the only information they want about this case, all other bits are not relevant.
Well, it looks like we're going to be able to continue this discussion for quite a while longer - Ferguson Prosecutor Says No Decision Until October on Shooting - Bloomberg

You don't think there would be outcry if the victim was white?
That'll give Eric Holder plenty of time to review every possible angle to make a case from a non-case (if a non-case situation happened).

Interestingly enough, over on DailyKos (where I first saw this) they are saying pretty much the same thing except that in their case it's the DA and Ferguson PD who are making stuff up.
This really doesn't bode well. It's looking like no matter what evidence comes out it's going to be presumed to be fake. That really doesn't leave a lot of room for resolution at any point.
Short answer...no.You don't think there would be outcry if the victim was white?

It's been widely reported!
Yes, and meanwhile he won't investigate the criminal in chief and his cronies.
