If you mean "eye for an eye" that he will suffer the fate he created, then you are as bad as he is.

What evils drive men to do these things? Shouldn't we be looking at that? Could it be he was a victim as a child?

He's sick ,we know that. Punishing the sick has never worked. The more civil job is to discover the causes and find a way to correct them; break the cycle so that we grow past this shit.

And THAT will require registration and licensing of all religious workers...a violation of one amendment or another Christians will hide behind. And it will require re-educating and possibly locking up offenders.

I am struggling to remember the name of the film where this was dealt with in Boston. The newspaper broke open the story and there was hell to pay. It is the "truest" of all 'true' films ever made.

It's also educational as you see the struggles of the paper and staff to maintain integrity, knowing they had the story but needing to prove it journalisticaly....meaning someone had to go on record. I also reveals the great lengths the church will go to to wield its power over politicians and powerful people.
