Minnesota Is 23rd State To Legalize Recreational Marijuana

This happened yesterday, but I didn't notice it posted anywhere. Glad to hear this, all states should follow suit.

Democratic Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota signed a bill into law on Tuesday legalizing recreational marijuana use in the state.

With Walz’s signature, Minnesota becomes the 23rd state to legalize adult-use cannabis and the third Midwestern state to do so.

There's no reason not to legalize pot for adults. Good move by Minnesota.

Our state law allows residents to raise a certain number of plants for personal use.

Its about damned time. I have a friend that spends summers up there with her daughters...and she uses marijuana, it helps her with anxiety.

23 states now, and a huge majority of the population of this country can go out and purchase marijuana in various forms recreationally or medically.

And its a good thing. Marijuana is a wonderful thing. Too bad that the people that need it the most are the ones that are so against it and so full of idiocy about it.

I pointed it out to one of the most notorious cannabis luddites on this forum a few days ago. That poster is helplessly watching the world pass him....and that's good, we don't need his type in the future.

Well that's good, but I see it as further advances on just one front of a wider struggle. If all drugs (other than date rape drugs) were legal, we'd actually have LESS problems with ice, meth and opioids because the pharmas would be free to develop and sell (without prescription) even more pleasurable drugs without such bad side effects.

Praise the weed. But bring on the Soma!
