Middle East expert Nick Heras said on Thursday that he is concerned that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan influenced President Trump's decision to pull U.S. troops from Syria.
"What I worry about is that in his discussions with President Erdogan, Erdogan sold him a lie, that Turkey actually wants to prevent the reemergence of ISIS, and that it isn't trying to get into eastern Syria to suppress the Kurds," Heras, a Middle East security fellow at the Center for a new American Security, told Hill.TV's Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton on "Rising."

Trump likes strongmen like Erdogan & Putin & therefore takes their advice. Withdraw from Syria? No problem: Ergogan, while I'm sure Putin is enjoying the show he paid for by getting Trump elected.

Remember Flynn had a big role in Turkey too... So that means...Mueller time!
If Mueller is a complete degenerate, and at this point with as badly as he is performing at great cost to the nation that is sadly a possibility.

Well...he did sort of promise to do this back in 2016:

Meanwhile, I am surprised by Progressives who are upset by this idea, since the argument has always been American interventionism is what created the problems in the Middle East in the first place.
And Flynn's work for Erdogan...How convenient. Was this a message to Flynn?
You might want to stop repeating things Trump says if you want to maintain any credibility you have left.
Does anyone here care to tell us why Turkey is important to NATO, or why we shouldn’t just dump them on their ass?
I am a Truth Teller, all of my credibility comes from being right, it is being right that I care about most not what you or anyone else thinks of me.
EDIT: The illusion of "Me" actually, as in Zen "Me" is like a computer simulation, sort of....we dont believe in Me like most folks.

Kurds have been our staunchest allies in the region for years. Erdogan wants the ability to slaughter the Kurds in Syria with impunity; Trump just said, "Sure, go get 'em."
That betrayal and the Kurdish blood spilled because of it will be on America's hands; we will all have to live with the blame, and the shame. God help them.

We haven't had any American President stand with the Kurds as much as they have deserved. Its a damned shame.
On this, we agree.
