Michigan capitol closes amidst death threats from armed protestors

Egged on by the President of the United States, armed protesters have made the threats against the governor of Michigan and state legislators and are currently occupying the Michigan State Capitol. The state government has shut down in the midst of trying to manage a public health crisis.


I am sure the president will cover their legal fees if they do start killing governors and legislators. And they wonder why they are called deplorables.
 

It is just horrifying that Americans are standing up for their freedom against an incompetent authoritarian governor!

How ridiculous that citizens reject fake science and demand the right to work to support themselves, rather than accept welfare or go bankrupt.

Submit to the State!
 

So anytime someone doesn’t like what a democratically elected official does, they can shoot them? That’s your idea of freedom?

You are aware that you could get a $30 fine ($560 today) for not wearing a mask in public, in San Diego, in 1918, right? And that we have data from that period that demonstrates the difference in outcomes in places that stayed shut down and those who just opened back up.

Liberals just don't get it.

1) Almost all Americans have enough common sense not to get infected and not to infect others without ridiculous authoritarian lockdowns.

2) This virus has been hugely, hugely over hyped.

3) More people would die in a depression than will die from the virus.

4) The lockdown and ridiculous hyperbole about it might well kill more people from lack of medical care, suicide, drug abuse, etc. than the virus itself.

So Americans will stand up for their freedom.

So Trump should be afraid? Probably. So, how do think this would go over if armed Citizens invaded the Capital or Whitehouse, wanna bet trump would be in Marine 1 within minutes.

The government should always fear the people. When the people fear the government, we're no longer a republic, but a tyranny.

I doubt we as a People fear the government, though we should never totally trust them, and should hold all of them accountable for their actions. So long as there are Patriots that put the Nation above Parties and the 2nd A remains in place this country will remain a Free Nation.
