A Mexican law enforcement helicopter crossed into the United States early Thursday and fired on two US Border Patrol agents.
Andy Adame, a spokesperson for US Border Patrol, said in a statement issued soon afterward that the incident had indeed occurred and that the two government agents targeted were not injured.
The incident occurred early Thursday around 100 yards north of the US/Mexico border, Adame said, around eight miles southwest of the Village of San Miguel on the Tohono O'odham Indian Nation.
OK, so I don't know if this is considered a main stream source or not. I tend to stay with CNN and then think for myself. I got a link to it on Fox on Facebook. It does appear to have happened. And maybe it has been posted, but I haven't seen it.

and this administration will accept the apology and nothing will happen to improve border security.
It is good news that the agents were not hurt. The crossing into the US by Mexican military personnel has got to stop.
Probably a honest mistake...
I agree. Too bad they weren't there to grab a few of the ones who jumped the river.

Our government... teaches the whole people by its example. If the government becomes the lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy.

Have you ever seen a border crossing? Really? An honest mistake? Bull****!

Wonder if its legal for someone from Mexico to bring military type weapons into the US? Let alone firing at a federal agent (BOR).
Seems the people in the helicopter should be thrown in jail. But that won't happen. Not to derail the tread, when one of our own mistakenly enteres Mexico, admits he has weapons, sits in a Mexican jail. Makes you wonder who the Adminstration is supporting.
You avoid CNN because you prefer to think for yourself, yet, you do not hesitate to source from FOX?
That made me giggle some. I needed a giggle. TGIF.
Have a great weekend!

The person in jail last I checked isn't a government official, and frankly how our liberal gun laws are and how many weapons end up in Mexico, I can't really blame the Mexican government for throwing the book at the guy. He was a moron for crossing the border, even if it was accident. And for the record Mexico isn't alone in this, Canada has done the same to US citizens.
Where did you learn to read? I said I 'tend to stay with CNN.' I don't giggle that you can't read. I rather feel sorry for you.
I tend to stay away from peeing on an electric fence myself. But that doesn't mean that, "sometimes I do."
Perhaps I misunderstood you.
It matters not how you feel. You are rather insignificant to me. I just thought it to be somewhat ironic. Just pointing it out. I mean no harm.
Straight from the Moose's mouthLink please.
Probably a honest mistake...

More likely corrupt Mexican military running interference for Mexican drug cartels.
Your president will leap to embrace their apology and take no action whatsoever.
mexico is only following our example.
Obama must have moved America's line of sovereignty north of the international border.
