From what I see most men are either against abortion or are indifferent. Yes there are some men who are pro choice but they usually don't feel too strongly about it, and they do make up the minority.

Id say you need to get out more because the majority of men are actually prochoice poll wise

IMO it should be higher but unfortunately, we live in a society that doesn't always focus on rights and freedoms as long as that individual has them

Why? Its not like you will ever have to make a choice to get an abortion.

Imagine having to ask why men care about the rights and freedoms of their fellow Americans and having no understanding of that . . how sad

should straight people not care about equal rights for sexual orientation
should whites (the majority) not care about equal rights for minorities
should Christians should whites (the majority) not care about equal rights for Jews and Muslim people
should able body people not care about equal rights for the disabled

that would be a sad, sick vile way to live

A couple of days ago while web surfing, I found a poll (possibly by PEW Research Center) that showed that when age cohort and gender were used intersectionally on this issue, only men over 50 years of age gave a figure of over 50% against abortion.

This wouldn't contradict the thread item, because younger men, like women and especially younger women, are pro-choice. But it seems to explain a lot.

I don't know why one would start a thread about men's views on abortion and base it on a subjective bias-fed sampling of his own 'personal experience'. Its just such an ignorant thing to do in the modern world. Nobody measures opinion or its weight on a political issue this way anymore and they haven't in over 50 years.

And they are usual fanatic progressives supporting their woman who tells them how to vote. LOL>

Yes biased professional polling is the only way to get the word out.

In my statistics class in college on day one the professor said you can always make the polling say what ever you want it too if you ask the questions right and you sample the correct segment in the right areas.
How do you think the pundits missed Hillary's 12 pt lead in 2016..

This entirely anecdotal or do you have something to back this up?

delete why feed the posters under the bridge.

Are you saying we should only want the rights that benefit us personally? Suppose women (who outnumber men) banded together to vote to outlaw sports.
Number one, Im not sure women do outnumber men.

Number two, they would never do that since lots of women play sports but you will never find men who get abortions.

I wonder if men were held responsible for the child at birth what the scenarios would look like......and I wonder why this has not been pushed more

US population is 50.52% female, 49.48% male. I think the initial point passed you by, or perhaps I didn't make it well. Do you think the rights of women should be decided by men?

A good reason for us men to be pro-choice, as well as pro-other-rights.

A good reason for us men to be pro-choice,

exactly, a good reason for all Americans to be pro-other-rights.

some people are just too selfish, bigoted and or ignorant to get that . . . .
and whats sad is if too many people become like that, its only a matter of time before rights of their own are lost them MAGICALLY its different 🤦‍♂️

I'd say our opinions are only that. We should only speak when we are asked unless we are speaking in favor of bodily autonomy. Can you name a way the government dictates to males what happens inside our bodies?

Few things suit the interest of unscrupulous men better than abortion.

Why are you starting a new thread, with nothing but your opinion, while ignoring posts in other threads in this sub-forum?
