Meghan McCain Has Some Strong and Somber Words About Trump Inciting The Attack on the Capitol

The passion displayed here is real. Yet how many on this board will say "wow. another Marxist spitting out the left wing talking points". That was the response to me on my would 2/3 would vote for impeachment thread now.

People that call these rioters yesterday "Patriots" for what they did are scum of the earth and lower than whale shit.

Of course she is correct. I just think impeachment hustled through is a much better option than using the 25th amendment. Pence is way too much of a coward to get the ball rolling.

I may be wrong, but I don't think he can be kicked out before Joe Biden is inaugurated, so I'm assuming we just have to wait it out and hope he causes no more severe destruction before his bloated ass is flushed.

An impeachment would be unlikely to get Trump out before Biden is inaugurated, but it would make Donald Trump the only president in history to have been impeached twice.

That's true, but if the impeachment isn't timely enough to get him out of office, it seems to be a waste. Also, Trump has a long list of the 'only president in history to' list already, honestly, I'm shocked he made it this long, those Trump Party republicans who covered up his corruption during the impeachment (and before and after), and did not remove him from office are his partners in crime and unpatriotic scumbags. I wish the worst for all of them, they cared nothing about our country, our people, our constitution or the rule of law. Rethuglicans. Mafia.

They put their money on the wildest horse in the race because it had an advantage over the tame ones, and were predictably kicked. I hope the SCOTUS changes were worth it for them, because that is likely to be their only positive (in their eyes) legacy for the foreseeable future.
 
I don't think it's likely, but if the 25th was successfully used, wouldn't Pence just pardon Trump for all his crap?

Pence is not a leader, he will not move on this.

Best to just sit this out. No point in inciting the mob. I believe all harm that Trump can do will be bridled by those around him.

Thinking a Pardon from Pence is off the table now. He can try pardoning himself, which will end up in the courts for the legality.

He might, but anyone who would pardon a traitor like Trump doesn't deserve to live in this country. I'm looking forward to ending the insanity, and hopefully all guilty parties, including Trump, will pay dearly.

No this impeachment could transpire in a matter of hours. There will be no trial. and nothing to investigate. There is one article on this second impeachment. It speaks of the insurgence caused by Trump Wednesday. It would pass the House and then be put up for vote as early as next Wednesday. If 67 Senators vote yea, he's gone.

She's angry that her dad lost to Senator Obama, but of course she doesn't dare touch that hot potato.

She is very courageous, however, to kick President Trump while he's lying on the ground. After all, he had the temerity to question whether her dad was a genuine "hero."
