Measles Confirmed in Unvaccinated Montgomery County Child; Others May Have Been Exposed

What kind of parent would risk their child's life for CT's and political reasons? Even the old guy was saved from death from Paxlovid treatment and was then vaccinated, as were his family.

The Pennsylvania kid was too young to be vaccinated and caught it traveling overseas. But sure, it’s Trump and RFKs fault.
The kid was less than 12 months old?

Nope.

The school-aged child had been hospitalized and died Tuesday night amid the widespread outbreak, Texas’ largest in nearly 30 years. Since it began last month, a rash of 124 cases has erupted across nine counties.

Democrats haven't been downplaying vaccines.

But trump - remember, he didn't believe enough in his own covid vaccine to take the shot publicly but did so in secret - nominated known anti-vaxxer junior.

Oh did he suddenly put a halt on vaccination?
Vaccinated people generally don't catch that virus
Did I read the article wrong or does it sound like this made it's way in through travelers?
whether they are on an Airport Shuttle Bus or encounter it through other travelers.

As for Jr,

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(24)02603-5/fulltext

he is influencing people not to vaccinate their kids.
Please ponder why we mustn't encourage quacks like him. We can't keep people from being around other people, whether we travel or they do.

Then why did you just bring up "There are many things that people do that kill other kids."?

To show the imbalance of fear over non-vaccinated kids versus lack of fear for the any number of things that are more dangerous.

Make up your mind...are we discussing the vaccine or all other public safety issues? Let me know.

Both. That is the whole point. This is not that complicated. Anyway...

.

Let me guess: He's mush-mouthing for the antivaxxers now.

Nope. LOL

Antivaxxers are, for the most part, are morons. I know you will read this, but it is funny how badly you want me to know that I am on your Ignore List.

Talk about Passive Aggressive. 🌻 🌺 🌻

@Pyrite I like how you let your anger influence that like, instead of going off what I actually said. Pretty pathetic.

What Penn Kid wasn't old enough for the virus?

We're talking measles.

Do you think possible side effects associated with taking the vaccine

Looks as if you, @Bodi, are letting your thin skin trigger you to complain about likes.

Interestingly-enough, @Bodi hasn't complained about the "like" I placed on Post #46.

LOL

We're talking measles.

That is what I was talking about... Measles. The MMR. What did I say that upset you?

Do you think possible side effects associated with taking the vaccine

Incomplete Sentence.

Huh? Where did I complain about "likes"?

Looks as if you, @Bodi, are letting your thin skin trigger you to complain about likes.

PS. Got it. I did not complain about a like so much as I made fun of "liking" somebody's post who makes a stupid accusation, or a lie, essentially. That is what you did. You liked a post that was made by a person who has me on Ignore and didn't even read my post (so they say ;)) and made a stupid accusation, Passive Aggressively. And you liked it? LOL

I'm not upset. YOU, however, complained that I "liked" one person's post. That I also "liked" one of yours didn't seem to ruffle your feathers.

Your Post #59:

Dude, who gives a shit about likes. I made fun of the fact that you liked a post from a coward that has me on Ignore, meaning he did not, supposedly, read my post, made an assumption which was retarded and incorrect. And you like it. That is funny... you doing that is funny. No complaints. I am laughing and you should be embarrassed.

You did. You used to write that about my posts when you chose not to "see" them...you'd complain about other people giving "likes". And you're calling someone a coward for using that feature?
Your post reeks of hypocrisy. And bonus points for degrading people with Down Syndrome.🪳

you should be embarrassed.

You should be, but you're not.

To show the imbalance of fear over non-vaccinated kids versus lack of fear for the any number of things that are more dangerous.

And I pointed out the distinction was that most of those other things didnt kill or harm others.

That concern over unvaxxed kids isnt just about someone risking their own kid. Your minimization of that is noted.

Both. That is the whole point. This is not that complicated. Anyway...

Your ambiguity pretty much nips that in the bud..."not vaxxing is dangerous!" "But so are lots of things!"

Some religious fundies and more and more MAGAs it seems. The king appointed a joker to minimize the dangers even further after covid. And the king knows best, right?

The one in Montgomery County who is the subject of this thread. Too young for the vaccine.
