I've been a 'progressive' ALL my life; most of us do not own guns!
Please deliver some statistics to document your claim.

Democrats are outraged because Trump is a liar, rapist, thief, conman and fat. But, the world is laughing their asses off at the "greatest country on earth" is moribund with petty issues of little or no long term consequence. While Trump has you dancing to his tune, your country is rotting from within. Your national debt: crushing for your kids!!!!

It has not fallen exponentially. The challenge for anyone making this correlation is proving it out in the data, since crime had been dropping in DC prior to NG and Fed agents arriving.

Has that been addressed?
It's well and good to get headlines with a crack down, like the days of prohibition. They would raid a distillery with prior notice so the manufacturing could be moved ahead of time. The headlines would make it look like something was actually being done.

You just temporarily move the crime to another neighborhood. When the troops have to leave, the crime will come back but America will ignore the reporting as ""progressive lies"

How come Trump, who has been in and out of Washington for more than a dozen years suddenly got concerned about DC crime?

He's a pitchman. What is he pitching now?

That's all well and good, but that's why cities have a Department of Sanitation and their workers are not paid as highly the cost of deploying NG troops to do that kind of work. Maybe you can recommend full stack software engineers be hired to paint park benches at their normal pay rate as well.

Sane reason in my second sentence. If the intention is to get more trash picked up, a more cost effective way would be to hire more sanitation workers and increase the cleaning schedules. Bringing in troops who have to be housed, fed, and would only do this temporarily makes no sense at all.
