McCarthy: Cawthorn ‘did not tell the truth’ about orgy, drug claims

"House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Wednesday after meeting with Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) that the freshman lawmaker was not telling the truth when he made claims about an “orgy” invitation and alleged drug use among unnamed members of Congress.

McCarthy added that Cawthorn “changes what he tells” and “did not tell the truth,” describing his actions as “not becoming of a congressman.”

Cawthorn was seen leaving McCarthy’s office Wednesday morning after a meeting that lasted about half an hour. House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) also attended the meeting, according to Politico."

A couple of interesting things about this story, not the least of which that it's apparently okay for Republicans to appear at white supremacist rallies, but not say what Cawthorn said.

Cawthorn himself has not retracted the story, which seems like a big middle finger to McCarthy. Does his caucus take him seriously? Are McCarthy's days as GOP House party Leader numbered? Make way for Jim Jordan as the next Republican House leader?
 
Cawthorn is a known liar. I also can't see anybody inviting him to anything. While it might happen, I suspect that Cawthorn is blowing gas. I don't see any Democrat who would want to do anything socially with Cawthorn, so it seems like he is discontent, and willing to tear down his own party by making these accusations. While I think there might be some house members that would do something like that (Matt Gaetz), I suspect it would be a vast minority, and if there is anything near the truth, it is highly exaggerated. I can believe the drugs, but the orgies? I just don't think anyone would invite him.

I recall one of the scandals of the Bush administration. Rumsfeld and Cheney had installed Porter Goss as CIA director in order to conduct an ideological purge of any people who told the truth about the Iraq war. Goss was associated with a guy named Wilkes, a right wing crank from San Diego.

Their party pal was Randy “Duke“ Cunningham, the guy who was famous for printing a price sheet for selling his influence.

They got famous for having parties with coke and prostitutes. The procurer was apparantly Goss’ chauffeur.

McCarthy is scared silly of ticking off Trump and losing the Gavel. Well I got news for him...I think that most has sailed and it ain't Jim Jordan who will be anointed. Don't turn your back McCarthy, it's Elise Stefanik.

His graft money is gone. He is too high profile right now. When daddy was VP he could shake down Burisma like a mafia boss and demand protection money, or shakedown China for millions for inside info., or a Russian mayor. Now he is exposed as a thief, a pedo, and a druggie and talk about jail for tax evasion like Al Capone got when they couldn't get him for anything else.
 
(Yawn) Can you guys ever wait until someone's at least charged with a crime? Maybe Hunter Biden is the worse criminal since Al Capone. I don't know. I do know that the many, many, many, conspiracy theories and accusations made by the right have resulted in nothing at all. There's no credibility until you convict somebody.

What was it that Hunter Biden knew about Burisma's business to get 80K a month? Why did a Russian mayor give him over 3 million? What did China give him so much money? He is a know-nothing druggie pedophile and you folks don't care that his dad is using him as a bag mad, trading on his name.
 
I'll care when he's charged with something. I've heard far too many slanders like this in the past to give them credibility. Maybe they're all true, but there's been so much crying wolf and the sky is falling for me to care anymore. Convict somebody or let it be.
 

Can you stop indulging those with HBDS who can't stop bringing him up even when he has exactly nothing to do with the subject of a thread? Let them wallow in their obsession with the man and don't encourage them to pollute threads.
 
So, you have no clue why this know nothing got all that money and said: "The Big Guy" gets 10%?
