Doubt and uncertainty have long been a hobby-horse of mine in terms of religious/theistic discussions, and now more than ever I've been meaning to at some point make a thread "What about when we're ~80% sure that someone is a child molester?"

Given that the Epstein files were also in the hands of the Biden administration, I can only assume that the evidence available even to the government - with a deceased Jeffery Epstein and a Ghislaine Maxwell possibly scared for her life and/or possibly awaiting clemency from a Trump administration - falls short of the rather high "beyond reasonable (or any possible) doubt" standard required to convict a billionaire ex-president. But there's obviously a helluva lot more than nothing there:
  1. Trump is on tape literally bragging about sexually assaulting women ("I don't even wait... grab 'em by the *****") under the pretext that it's fine if they don't physically fight him off due to the power disparity ("when you're a star, they let you do it")
  2. He's been found liable in a civil suit for sexual assault of a woman, rape according to the common definition of the word according to the judge
  3. He's been credibly accused of sexual assault in various forms by numerous other women
  4. He's on tape sexualizing a young preteeen girl to her face ("I'm going to be dating her in ten years, can you believe it")
  5. He's been credibly accused by at least four victims of walking in on undressed Miss Teen USA contestants as young as 15
  6. He's publicly made innumerable creepy sexual comments about his own daughter
  7. He's obviously known to have been a close associate of Epstein and Maxwell
  8. An otherwise more or less allied and credible publication - the Wall Street Journal - published an alleged birthday greeting from Trump to Epstein alluding to the "wonderful secret" the two of them shared
  9. He has broken campaign promises, variously lied, continues to cover up the contents of the Epstein files and is actively showing clemency to his (surviving) friend and child sex abuser Ghislaine Maxwell, alienating some of his base
  10. He has been explicitly accused by multiple individuals of sexual offences against them as children

And what's worse is the American deputy Attorney General is talking to her like he believes every word she says and then promotes her interview. Anyone who can't see this is a massive cover-up needs their heads examined.

For me, this is unbelievable and unacceptable. This whole interview was scripted and is a lie. Maxwell is a perjurer anyway. No one should believe the first word out of her mouth. She's literally begging for a pardon.

We have a criminal president trying to change a reality where he is guilty. He's using the government to do it, and no one can, or is willing to, stop him. The entire thing is insane.

She hasn't even changed her story. At least Cohen apparently repented. She's sticking to her "saw nothing, heard nothing" innocent plea even though she was found guilty. And she's being rewarded for it because it gives Trump deniability.
 
She’s looking to become the next pedoconservative icon. She already got moved to Club Fed for her trouble, next step is a full pardon and perhaps a show on one of the pedocon infotainment networks.

Yes, they are they far gone, but what happens when the POTUS (Trump? Vance?) commandeers the U.S. Military against their political rival if the dems were to win in a free and fair Constitutionally protected election in 2028? This can't be ruled out any longer when underage sex trafficking and pedophile rape is OK since it's their people.
I know the cons currently have the upper hand via the gerrymandering, but that could change.
