With countries like N. Korea there's generally the words that they use to describe their structure of government and economy, and then reality. The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is neither democratic (elections are all sham elections) nor a Republic (they're essentially a monarchy). They are certainly are not a democratic socialist state because they are Marxist-Leninist which are opposing versions of socialism.

Not all Marxists are Marxist-Leninsts (the USSR lovers, aka Tankies) and not all socialists are Marxists. Many are democratic socialists and are in favor of market socialism vs the top down central planning that the USSR has proven does not work.

I never said it, i wrote MANY socialists were (are ) Marxism (ussr imperialism lovers )- leaning. which TURNED many of them INTO the ENEMIES OF THE DEMOCRACY /FREE WORLD /US
