This one is starting to hit close to home, in the White House. It now seems Trump's new incoming Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, is currently quarantining, bringing the number of CPAC Republican lawmakers quarantined to 5.

On the surface it appears to be due to an abundance of caution, but I suppose it brings the reality of the situation right to the Resolute Desk. My question would be, should Trump be tested - and was he (tested)? And not just Trump, but Congress and the Administration? Better to have early detection and segregation, rather than have the virus strike a dagger into the functioning of our highest levels of governance just when we need them (functioning) the most.

It's not as bad as people are trying to make it out to be. If it weren't for the media, we'd be having an easier time of all this.

You might be right. I heard the virus is just like having a cold and could be gone tomorrow like a miracle.

I believe it depends on how old you are and whether or not you have other medical issues. Heart/lung problems for example.
 

This is really going to suck.

A whole lot of people are going to die.

And none of this had to happen, we got failed by our leaders.

The only people who're currently dying from this virus are either the elderly, or those with compromised immunes systems.

The youngest was in their late 30s.

That’s how it apparantly works in the funhouse mirrors world Trump created in the talk radio imagination.

Nothing to see here! Why are pesky reporters talking about the White House Chief of Staff quarantining himself??????? It’s just not fair!

Considering that one of his constituents is now dead and Gaetz himself is in quarantine and being skinned alive online for his stunt now...maybe.

In Trump's mind, absolutely. Mulvaney displayed cracks in maintaining the great charade. The great charade must be maintained at all costs. It must never be seen that the emperor has no clothes!

I was speaking to both party's constituents. Plenty of Dems want the Dem old guard gone, too. And in many ways, I can't blame them.

I can't imagine being in my twenties, looking around at all these old codgers in Trump, Biden, Pelosi, Hillary, even Bernie, and wondering,

"What's in it for me?"

Try predicting.

I didn't wish death on this lady, but I was pretty damn sure she wasn't going to make it because she was doing an incredibly stupid thing.
Despite numerous warning signs to stay out, she defeated security fences and gates, and climbed into the polar bear enclosure, and jumped into the water.


It wasn't necessary to "wish death" upon her, and it isn't necessary to "wish death" on anyone that stupid, and that determined to BE stupid.
But yeah, it's very easy to predict that they're probably going to die.

The same goes for families that try doing photo shoots on active railroad tracks, by the way.


They don't need any help either...their stupidity almost guarantees their demise.

If that really were the case with twenty-somethings, the Bernie Youth vote would have squashed Biden like a bug.
It never happened.
