IMHO democrats, JUST having made a deal, at one time would have told MTG to fly a kite for this speaker or the last. It would allow for continued operation, and there's really only a few months of legislative 'season' left. My thinking is that being the good Christian he wanted aid to Israel, but he knew Schumer would never let that vote happen without aid to Ukraine passing.
