Anti-hunting activists have secured at least 23% of the 172 permits issued or about 40 permits (possibly could be higher) for the Florida bear hunt

That was his Straw Man argument...

.

What was my strawman argument? Come up with something truthful, or I'm telling you goodbye in this thread and you can go troll somewhere else.

Yes, so long as we are engaging in anthropomorphic speculation, it seems that an animal that lives free is experiencing a better existence than one raised in captivity for nothing more than to provide tasty meals. I mean...if you ignore the winter starvation, the disease, and the utter disregard that predators display towards their prey. A heart/lung shot that drops an animal almost in its tracks is quicker than most of the rest of nature's alternatives.

The "use a knife" crowd are engaged in facetious nonsense for nothing more than trolling and denigrating hunters. They propose that a less efficient method of death is the more ethical course. Hunters don't think like that generally. They try to maximize the humanity of the death itself within the parameters of the method used. The "use a knife" bunch should at least propose beheading the creature with a broadsword or something.

The "use a knife" people are showing the "hunters" are cowards and the "use a knife" people are trying to give the "slaughter innocent animals" people a bit of their own medicine by making things fair. But the "slaughter innocent animals" people are too afraid of an equal chance. *shrug*

Comparing how animals are killed...

Who told you it's supposed to be an equal chance? On the killing floor of the abattoir, they're not exactly dueling with the animal providing you your next meal.

Anyway, I only kill the guilty animals so your appeal to emotion doesn't work.

100% Wrong.

Also, 100% Wrong.

.
If you hunted a bear with a knife I would applaud it... using high-powered rifles though?

Weak . As . Shit .

Who told you that I said that it is supposed to be equal?

What Due Process did they get?

Bye Bodi.

Bye Bodi.

I can understand that not being able to follow a debate can be frustrating. Next time you are confused, just ask though.

You are wrong because my argument was always about equality for the animal and that hunters take equal 1 on 1 risk by fighting an animal so that has a good chance of winning... not being shot by cowards far away with high-powered rifles.

THIS

my argument was always about equality for the animal

DOES NOT MEAN

Who told you that I said that it is supposed to be equal?

It is not supposed to be equal but it would be nice if it was equal.

Just Comprehend better and it will all be alright.

You still here Bodi?

I invite you and your friends to come to British Columbia and hunt real bears. Ones that can run 60 miles an hour over rough terrain and weigh close to a ton. Ones that can take a few .30 calibre rounds and keep charging. Kodiaks and Grizzlies.

Then you are hunting.

In Florida, the land of fat northerners, I suspect you're hunting vicious ground hogs.

Leave the little guys alone. Make it sport where the bear has as good a chance at eating you as you him....

invite me up and I'll do that with my bow - and I'm serious

Didnt say it wasnt hunting.
They call those canned hunts in TX "hunting" too.

there is a difference in hunting and going into a pasture and killing something

and I got no problem with people killing animals in pastures - but that's like shooting a cow to eat vs hunting a deer. Its not the same, don't confuse it ,,,,,, and people calling canned shooting "hunting" bothers me, its a lie I call out everytime

Is that you, Fred Bear? (Listen to the outro of Ted Nugent's song Fred Bear.)

I've never heard the people in Florida referred to as "northerners".

I used to play Fred Bear in a cassette as I drove to the trail head in Pagosa Springs on my annual DIY Backpack bowhunts for elk ....

how do you get your meat ? do you kill the animals with a knife and then spend a full day processing it or, do you pay someone else to do all that for you like most Americans?

and my point? you're trying to talk down on hunting when you do worse by paying others to kill/butcher animals for you.

Hunting and a Food Distribution Service/Industry are not comparable. Hunting is a Sport for the almost every hunter. That is fine. Go hunt for sport. Just do it manly with a knife. Even Predator decloaked to fight Dutch one on one.

Maybe so called hunters - a more apt title is "killers" - should examine their interest in taking another life for fun, and simply not do it

Maybe extreme anti- hunters should mind their own business and take steps to make sure they never enjoy any part of their own meals or the process by which they obtain them.
