Yeah...he does not care that these Ethiopians are Jewish because he believes Jews are a form of Eurasian racial stock, and not also a culture and religion that other people can convert to and identify with, even if they have done so generation-upon-generation for hundreds of years like the Beta Israel have.

It is the same reason why so many right-wing white Catholics hate no one more than non-white fellow Catholics, especially Hispanic and African Catholics. To white Christian Nationalists, their Catholicism is a racial/ethnic signifier, not a faith-based one. Like being Orthodox for Ethnic Serbians vs. Catholics for Ethnic Croatians.
