No. A terror organization holding hostages does not justify massacring tens of thousands of innocent, unarmed Palestinian civilians in an orgiastic campaign of genocidal vengeance.

Return of ALL hostages would, IMO, be a mandatory first step in reaching a cease fire agreement. That's all I was saying.
Urban warfare results in many innocent lives being lost. As I view it, it is a religious based war between family members.

Religion has practically nothing to do with it. It is an inter-ethnic territorial dispute, and we are arming the aggressor with our most advanced weaponry for free. At least when cynical neo-colonial countries like France arm governments to commit genocides, they extract economic, resource and trade concessions for doing so. We are giving the Israelis bombs to kill Gazans at the American taxpayer’s expense.

Superficially. At most. Israel is an ethno-nationalist colonial project. Not a religious one. The founders of the state of Israel were mainly secular and in some cases outright atheist ethnic Jews.

I saw this and reacted with disgust. I am so ****ing sick of the stranglehold that Israel and the pro-Israel lobby has over this country. If it's not this, it's trying to destroy academic freedom at our colleges and universities because antisemitism.

I guess on the upside, Bibi's gamble (aided by Trump, Rubio and the Congressional Dems) has made Israel into an all-or-nothing project openly committed to genocide. Gonna be super hard to argue otherwise once this finally sorts out at the Hague.

It depends.

If I have someone shooting at me from behind a screen of humanity and they won’t stop, and I announce to these people, “Hey, you better get out of the way because I’m tired of being shot at and I’m going to start shooting back. I’m giving you a day to move, but after that I’m shooting through you to get to them if I have to. Just saying.”, they better know that in 24 hours I’m going to start shooting. I won’t want to hurt anyone who wasn’t trying to hurt me, and I’ll try hard and aim carefully, but if it’s the only way I can get to those who are hurting me…

It’s far from perfect, and it will be my last resort, but if everything else has failed at some point I’m protecting myself. There are limits.
 
Netanyahu says "jump," Trump asks "How high?" Ultimately Rubio is moved like a piece on a chessboard to go after Francesca Albanese and by extension the UN. No different than going after ICC judges, the intention is "retribution" for having the audacity to question Israel killing just about anyone they can find in Gaza.

I am not angry at all, more disappointed to see such support for genocide to the point of going after anyone that dares speak about what Israel is doing.

There's nothing personal here, you just admit you support someone who has made blatantly antisemitic remarks and her appointment opposed by a long list of countries that do not appreciate Jew hatred the way that you do.

I do not have to admit what you ask for, the false dilemma is noted as well as the falsehood that I "appreciate Jew hatred." (BTW, that is making it personal.)

You've reached the point of ranting and raving and it is both obvious and worthless.

The fact remains, no matter how much or which of her comments you do not like, that the Trump Administration going after Francesca Albanese is more an admittance of Israel's guilt of genocide than some wise move of political power. It is not going to shut anyone up, if anything make it worse internationally speaking.

Does not matter if you cling to the term antisemitic or you go with Rubio's "campaign of political and economic warfare against the United States and Israel" the only thing that is happening is appeasing Netanyahu's blood-thirsty attitude of killing anyone they can get their hands on in Gaza. Unarmed, women, children, does not matter to Israel and Albanese is right to be critical of Israel's military campaign all without having any basis in "Jew hatred" (as you put it.)

Your arguments are kin to modern liberalism throwing down transphobic anytime anyone dares to suggest something contrary to their arguments.
