I just posted a handful of charts showing the system abuses black people. Assuming that blacks and whites are equal genetically, and have equal opportunity in our system, the numbers should look equal.
Those numbers are grossly unequal. That's systemic abuse.
What is absurd is that guns are only used to kill things. Simply not true It isn't true of cars either. Sorry, sea lawyer.
You didn't address the fact that the system may be the problem, you simply dismissed it.The system isn't the problem, unless you're claiming that black folks are too animalistic to succeed in civilized society.
The analogy is valid, what is absurd is your mischaracterization of why guns "exist".False analogy. Guns exist to kill people/animals/things (for beneficial or harmful purposes is another debate). Cars are a method of transportation and without them the modern society (especially in large countries such as China, US) would be severely negatively impacted. Civilian ownership of guns therefore cannot be possibly used as an analogy to cars. The analogy is simply ridiculous and it's very tiring hearing that crap over and over again. I'm somewhat divided and mostly indifferent about gun ownership but your analogy is just absurd.
Edit: BTW the OP isn't even about gun control. How thoughtful to bring up a totally irrelevant topic.

Why is it libs can look at a set of statistical data, and pour what ever meaning they wish into them, without a shred of substantiating evidence? Just because the numbers are not equal, doesn't necessarily indicate, "systemic abuse".
You can either blame genetics or environment. Environment is a product of our system, that's the one that seems obvious to me. If we can accept that it's not genetic, then we're both on the same page of looking for systemic reforms to improve the opportunity of all citizens to live peaceful, productive lives. Why is it libs can look at a set of statistical data, and pour what ever meaning they wish into them, without a shred of substantiating evidence? Then do tell, what is the main purpose of guns?
There are 8 black, female millionares in the world. All of them are American. Colin Powell was secretary of state. Condelizza Rice was secretary of defense. Barack Obama is president. Eric Holder is the AG. Those facts cancel out your claims.
The fact is, black people have no fewer rights and no less access to The American Dream than anyome else. There are literally millions of black Americans who have a good job--not minimum wage--and have never been to jail, to claim that black folks can't succeed in America.

Modern society couldn't exist without knive, either, but there are places where knives are heavily regulated.
Then do tell, what is the main purpose of guns?
You can also blame propaganda. Example: we never hear Libbos say that black folks can succeed if they try hard enough.

To ignite a propellant, and project a bullet down range.
How do you explain away all the successful black folks in America, who represent a majority of black Americans?
Oh? Where? (Genuinely curious).
My guess is that it would be knives used as weapons such as swords and military-use knives. Ordinary knives such as cutter knives and kitchen knives that have everyday uses won't be.
I disagree it's a false dichotomy. There's nothing else besides nature and nurture to draw from. Nothing.Wow, what a glaring and shallow, false dichotomy.
I'll repost the chart I posted earlier for you, since you clearly missed it, forgot about it, or misunderstood it:
That's the difference between wealth in white households and black households. That data includes all those successful black folks, and all those successful white folks.
So you're concluding that it's a lack of positive reinforcement by liberals that's the problem and not the lack of wealth, the insanely higher incarceration rates, the lower quality education access, etc?
The inheritance laws sustain and compound that household wealth inequality.Ok, now show us the specific law(s) that creates that inequality.
That's an offensively shallow interpretation of the facts. That's exactly what I'm saying.
That's an offensively shallow interpretation of the facts.
The inheritance laws sustain and compound that household wealth inequality.
The access to quality public education sustain and compound that household wealth inequality.
Mandatory minimum sentencing laws sustain and compound that household wealth inequality.
Our drug laws sustain and compound that household wealth inequality.
Our criminal background check laws sustain and compound that household wealth inequality.
Our access to voting laws sustain and compound that household wealth inequality.
Our (lack of) gerrymandering laws sustain and compound household wealth inequality.
Etc. Etc. Etc.
