Man loses 6 family members/relations to COVID-19

Caught, back when the virus first started gaining steam, I remember seeing a family picture showing six or seven family members--and they said that something like four or five of them had died of the virus. It was believed that the gathering during which the picture was taken was what spread the virus. I believe this might have been when there was a shortage of masks, and authorities were still uncertain as to how the virus was being spread (e.g., through the air, bodily contact, eating utensils, etc.).

We had an elderly woman with covid on the vent - family called “ don’t let grandma know her son and nephew just died at another hospital 😥

I heard a similar story where a women in ICU couldn’t get in touch with family members for a week. It turns out they had passed from the virus. There are too many people just looking at the raw death statistics and saying it’s just a part of life. What they are missing are the heart breaking stories attached to each death.

And once the holiday surge hits....it will be worse.

It seems like the Republican healthcare plan for covid is - if you get it, die quickly so you don’t take up hospital beds that are in short supply.

The plan here in AZ is to hire more healthcare workers and create more beds. Instead of throwing 80 million at that Our Governor should have shut down bars and limited restaurants to only out door dining. Send that money to the businesses and those temporarily put out of work. Get the numbers down and take the heat off hospitals. They are gonna have to shut something down eventually anyway.

That's sad.

by the 2nd/3rd week of january there will be shortages of refrigerated trucks and mass graves being dug across the country

it did not need to be like this

it would have been bad no matter what but with trump, it will be apocalyptic

That's not necessarily a bad plan, but tell me this "Where are those healthcare workers going to come from and where are those additional beds going to go?".

Well, that one seems to be a whole lot more connected with reality than "I am going to knit a bunch of healthcare workers.".
