A man plowed a stolen bakery truck into a Planned Parenthood clinic in New Jersey this week, hurting three people — including a pregnant woman, authorities said this week.
Marckles Alcius, 31, pleaded not guilty Friday after officials at the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said he crashed into the East Orange clinic’s waiting room deliberately Wednesday.
He has been charged with aggravated assault, theft and attempt to cause widespread injury and damage.

They haven't stated a motive, but it's believed to have been a deliberate attack. I hope he's given a good, stiff sentence, regardless of what the motive was.
I wonder if he has a history of issues with Planned Parenthood. Usually folks seem to want to make sure it is known why they were attacking Planned Parenthood.
We are going to have to seriously look at banning trucks, fully automatic included

A stolen truck? Maybe he was just trying to get away too quickly and crashed?
Like I said before, this does not smell like a usual PP attack. Usually they are proud to acknowledge the attack was based on some crazy moral reason, (ie bomb Pland Parenthood, because well, uh....Jesus)
He is not claiming any such thing (yet?)
It clearly could be an accident.
Police: Man crashes truck into Planned Parenthood clinic in NJ - Story | WTXFA spokeswoman for the prosecutor's office said there was no information that Alcius had a connection to the clinic, but she would not say why prosecutors believe the crash was intentional

Sadly transparency is not something that our government cares much about.
Hawkeye...they are investigating. Why the hell do you think they should put all the information out there immediately?
Do you think all investigations should be immediately transparent to the public?
Really.
Ya, It think that if my government tells me that so-so did something that has them so sure that he is a bad criminal that they immediately charge him with this being an intentional act that they have an obligation to give the people a taste of their thinking. This government has dwindling credibility and legitimacy.... if they want to head of big trouble then they best get their asses in gear and start pumping out the sunshine.
I am HAWkEYE10, and that's the way I see it.

What the hell are you babbling about?
Allow me. If the government is so sure the guy is a criminal, state it was intentional and they immediately charge him accordingly, they should also give the information on motive and why this is true. The government has recently lost a lot of credibility and legitimacy, so if they want to get it back, they need to walk the walk. They are no longer trusted.
How was that Hawkeye?

Well apparently the whole investigation aspect eludes you and Hawkeye.
The difficulty (blatantly obvious to most rational people)is that many people resist being honest and forthcoming in an investigation, so it becomes time consuming.
Oh wait...I thought I was on a Mueller investigation thread.
Same premise. Investigation first.
Some people may just be mentally unstable and they may perform a deliberate act that harms an other or others with no motive.
Why does the general public think if a person acts irresponsibly the police must have a motive and in order to charge a person the motive must be known and identified before being charged when a deliberate act harmed a person or persons?
I'm not sure if it was an accident, I doubt he'd have all those charges if it was. They said it was deliberate. I'm wondering if his girlfriend or wife had an abortion and he's angry about it.
Hey. I was just translating.
Where did I write that there 'must' be a motive in order to charge someone?
I was just translating anyway.
