Mali ends peace deal with separatist groups​


The 2015 peace deal was mediated through Algeria and was supposed to allow Mali to focus on fighting the jihadist groups. However the current junta is somehow convinced they can fight both the Jihadists and the Separatists at the same time, without foreign backing. Yeah, will not end that well for them.

They figure they can handle it with their Russian (Wagner) allies.

Russia can't even win against Ukraine. What makes these dopes in Mali think Ivan can help them against 2 different military opponents at once?
