Maggot drops ceasefire demand in lockstep with his murderous pal Vladimir

*Bigger country viciously invades smaller country under the absurd pretext that "it once belonged" to them (I guess by that metric England should now invade the United States) causing tens of thousands of deaths.

*Bigger country finds out that their conventional forces are a friggin' joke and almost get their asses handed to them.

*Bigger country has to beg for more cannon fodder (er, soldiers) from N. Korea and drones from Iran and still can't do shit.

So, what is the only just resolution to this? Bigger country withdraws to inside its own borders, ceases all hostilities, pays billions of dollars for the rebuilding of what its wantonly destroyed, pays reparations to the families of the dead soldiers and civilians killed or maimed in their patently illegal, savage invasion of smaller country and is forced to apologize profusely for their appalling actions. And, Putin is allowed to be arrested and tried in the Hague for war crimes and a new, democratic administration is established in the Kremlin.

I think that about covers it.

Hopefully Europe can negotiate a cease fire.

Seems Zelensky is not trusting them, and hanging his hat on the US making Russia fall in line.

Not sure why he would think that was possible.

Leftists are pissed that the focus has shifted to peace instead of a temporary ceasefire.

Putzin really focused on peace today.

How many dead civilians in Ukraine from the latest mass attack? Somebody back me up with some links here!

To Putin, treaties are as disposable as toilet paper.

A treaty he can easily break.

He can, but there's no evidence he necessarily would. Actually, if you had to pick a nation that backs out of international frameworks more than any other, you could start with us.

A treaty is useful for Putin because it gets around the thorny little problem that he has, which is that taking land by force is illegal under international law. That doesn't make the acts of force any more legal than they were, but it makes the cession itself legal. He wants a lasting resolution to this conflict.
