Now that this MAGA politician, who introduced a bill to designate "Trump Derangement Syndrome" as a mental illness, has his own ass in a sling for trying to have sex with a teen so he wants the undercover cop, who was posing as the teen, identified.

So, let me ask you straight up (though we both know you won't answer the question), was it OK in your opinion that this politician solicited a teen for sex? Yes or no?
 
So to summarize. Another of the Left is Awful crowd turns out to be worse than they accuse the Left of being. The usual suspects in the party about protecting the Children are silent. The normal MAGA defenders are trying to turn this to an indictment of how awful the left is.

Every other cop is expected to operate in the public. Officer John Smith. He wears a name tag, and a badge with a unique number. He almost certainly has a Body Camera which he activates before every interaction. He has cameras on his Patrol Car, recording constantly. When the fellow who got the ticket goes to court, John Smith is there, with the video recordings, showing how the traffic stop went down, and what everyone did.

If John Smith misbehaves, there is evidence. The Department may try and cover it up, but the truth will get out. Oh they might cover it up once or twice, but like Chauvin, eventually the truth gets out and the Cop faces penalties for his misdeeds.

ICE Agents are somehow different. We aren't allowed to know who they are. What they are doing. Nor by what authority they operate under. They never stand before the judge to explain their actions and justifications. There is never any video of their actions showing that they did the job right.

Interestingly you seem to support this sort of thing. The Constitution requires Officer John Smith to stand before the suspect in court. The right of the defense to face the accusers. The right to a public trial. The right to a cogent defense. But ICE doesn't bother with any of that. They have special Judges that are not in the Judicial Branch. They have rights that the rest of the cops don't have. They have authority that seems to allow them to arrest anyone for anything.

There is no evidence to the claims of ICE Agents. If a Cop says you had drugs in your car, he has to produce the drugs to the Court. He better have video of the drugs being discovered. The reports will be scrutinized by your attorney to find mistakes that will get you free. ICE doesn't bother with that. They just arrest who they want, and if it turns out they have no evidence, release the person.

So how do you sue Agent Smith of ICE if you don't know who he is? How do you name him in a Civil Rights Complaint if you have no idea who arrested you? How do you stand up for your rights if you are not allowed to know who they are?

ICE has become Trump's "hit squad".
Undercover agents need identity protection. ICE agents are not undercover and should not be afforded that protection
