Not sure what is there to apologize for and if he doesnt regret them, why should he apologize for them?and some of the people in Virginia will vote for this demented fool
A few of his 'nice, Christian' words included such phrases as:
“Homosexuality is a horrible sin, it poisons culture, it destroys families, it destroys societies; it brings the judgment of God unlike very few things that we can think of,”
“Their minds are perverted, they’re frankly very sick people psychologically, mentally and emotionally and they see everything through the lens of homosexuality. When they talk about love they’re not talking about love, they’re talking about homosexual sex.”
He has also called Democrats “slave masters” and compared Planned Parenthood to the Ku Klux Klan. He also has said the Democratic Party has “An agenda worthy of the Antichrist.”
“Liberalism and their ideas have done more to kill black folks whom they claim so much to love than the Ku Klux Klan, lynching and slavery and Jim Crow ever did, now that’s a fact,”
Shouldn't have to be explained. Not sure what is there to apologize for and if he doesnt regret them, why should he apologize for them?
Indeed. Up until he decided he needed to exploit their vote and collect their campaign cash, the president of this great country felt the same way (though he was much more politically correct in how he said it). They both maintained their belief, based on their faith that homosexuality was 'wrong'. In a non-PC expression, it would be called a 'sin'. In a PC expression it was just 'wrong' and gay marriage was something he was opposed to. Now...maybe the lt gov could have been more delicate in his expressions. Still...he believes it, he should in no way apologize for the statements. (And BTW...poll a good many number of Obama supporters, especially in the black and latino communities, and you will find they agree with him as well).Shouldn't have to be explained.
Let's not be obtuse here. Jackson went far and beyond simply opposing same-sex marriage in his spiel, asserting that homosexuals were incapable of love, only primal sexual urges. His statements condemn homosexuals as a whole, as individuals not worthy of respect. His comments contrasting his political opposition with slave owners, the Klu Klux Klan, and the antichrist are also reprehensible and deserves nothing but rebuke. Again, something that shouldn't have to be explained to adults and the mentally capable.Indeed. I was not being obtuse, I was speaking directly. Jackson spoke his true feelings about homosexuality and about liberal policies and the devastating effect it has had on the black community. He didnt bathe his comments in political correctness. He didnt do any of the typical "well...PERSONALLY I believe it is WRONG...but...its not for me to say" bull****. He didnt mince words. He spoke his belief and there is nothing to apologize for. Feel free to disagree the **** out of what he says and dont apologize for YOUR position either. As for his comments re liberal policies...dood...seriously...LOOK at the typical black community across the country.Let's not be obtuse here. Of course you were. Your attempt to link Jackson's position on homsexuality to Obama's was born of purposeful ignorance. Simply opposing same sex marriage is not equitable with condemning the homosexual community as a whole and as individuals.I was not being obtuse, I was speaking directly.

Their comments are absolutely linked. The only difference is that Obama's comments and 'beliefs' (founded on his religious faith) were couched in political correctness. But dont be stupid. If you are a democrat and you stand before the world and state "I am a Christian and I believe in God and I believe homosexuality is wrong" you are stating it is a 'sin'....you are just too chicken **** to use the word.Of course you were. Your attempt to link Jackson's position on homsexuality to Obama's was born of purposeful ignorance. You've conflated "Political Correctness" with common decency and smarts. His beliefs, while heart felt are repulsive and ill-informed. Individuals like this, should be ashamed and bashful to make such statements in public.
Gladly. Liberal policies have not done more damage to the black community than the institutional repression spearheaded by the Klan and Jim Crow laws. That was easy.
Of course Obama never condemned homosexuality and homosexuals as individuals, but rather same sex marriage. Jackson, as we all know, went far and beyond that. Just drop that whole narrative and move along.Their comments are absolutely linked. The only difference is that Obama's comments and 'beliefs' (founded on his religious faith) were couched in political correctness. But dont be stupid. so democrats who demonize the wealthy, Christians and gun owners are OK but this guy is not?
Of COURSE he didnt. It was just 'wrong'...huh? Now...why is that do you suppose? :lamoOf course Obama never condemned homosexuality and homosexuals as individuals, but rather same sex marriage. Jackson, as we all know, went far and beyond that. Just drop that whole narrative and move along.
Obviously one can oppose same sex marriage while avoiding treating homosexuals as inferior human beings and worthy of scorn. The two positions aren't equitable. That dog don't hunt.Of COURSE he didnt. It was just 'wrong'...huh? Now...why is that do you suppose? :lamo
You keep repeating the same thing I do...you just do it with political correctness and try to make sure you paint Obama in that positive light. If you want to 'move along' then you should be all means simply admit defeat (or rather just embrace the truth) do so.
as I said earlier...he could be much more genteel about how he said it. However it is what he believes and he should therefore NOT apologize for it, just as you should absolutely feel free to disagree with both what he said and how he said it. He uses direct words. You just did the typical PC dance. OBVIOUSLY you can be against gay marriage. Now...WHY exactly? Because you think it is 'wrong'? Ok...then 'WHY?' Based on what? Obama 's stated belief is predicated on his belief in God and Christ. That makes it a 'sin'. But...can't say that and still expect people to vote for you and give you campaign contributions. As for the rest o his comments...again...why should be apologize for them? The black communities across the country are in a crisis state. Things continue to get worse, not better.Obviously one can oppose same sex marriage while avoiding treating homosexuals as inferior human beings and worthy of scorn. The two positions aren't equitable. That dog don't hunt.
The difference does not lie in the tone of the statements, but the fact that they are completely different in content. You're simply in the wrong here.as I said earlier...he could be much more genteel about how he said it. no...they aren't wrong. They are spot on in content. Of maybe you just believe Obama and democrats that oppose gay marriage and think homosexuality is just "wrong" do so only because really...it's not their religious beliefs...they are just had filled bigots. The difference does not lie in the tone of the statements, but the fact that they are completely different in content. You're simply in the wrong here.
Crassness and historical illiteracy. The KKK and Jim Crow laws wreaked far more damage upon the black community than have liberal policies.
Obama has never disparaged homosexuals as individuals in the same manner as Jackson. Stop being stupid.no...they aren't wrong. They are spot on in content. Of maybe you just believe Obama and democrats that oppose gay marriage and think homosexuality is just "wrong" do so only because really...it's not their religious beliefs...they are just had filled bigots.
Damn those democrats for the KKK, but sorry...that's just bull****. Liberal policies have devastated the black communities across the nation and continue to do so. Of course...LBJ said it best and most clearly about the intent of the democrat policies...didnt he.
to Obama and his PC speak, "wrong"=sin...but...well...he can't very well say that, can he. After all...you have to have that campaign cash and their votes.Obama has never disparaged homosexuals as individuals in the same manner as Jackson. Stop being stupid.
Feel free to reference a Liberal policy that can hold a candle to the economic, social, and educational oppression levied by Jim Crow laws and the Klan.
Still wrong.to Obama and his PC speak, "wrong"=sin...but...well...he can't very well say that, can he. After all...you have to have that campaign cash and their votes.
The democrat supported Klan caused a lot of personal devastation, primarily in the south. Now look across the country in every major city in America and tell us all how that devastation is caused by the Klan (and we agree...the democrats that supported the Klan were pre scum).
drive down MLK boulevard in any major city in the country. Observe he impact of appeasement acts, welfare programs and the devastation on the black family and community, then come back and talk about how bad the democrats in the KKK were. Scumbags...yes...but pikers in comparison to what the democrat party has done.Still wrong.
So.. Nothing then?

Yes it is reprehensible to advocate denying US citizens their rights.
